Hey @DominicRaab, Disabled Universal Credit claimant here.

I can confirm that I will have to choose between heating and eating this month.

Also, before you say get a job, learn what LCWRA means. Universal Credit isn't just for people able to work, that's the problem.
I already use a Foodbank to help feed my children who I have every weekend. I'm losing weight and am frequently unwell due to my lack of food.

£20 a week is a huge amount. Never mind presents for Christmas, I want to be able to eat and give my kids something nutritional.
You're so out of touch with the real world. People in and out of work are STARVING themselves so they can hest their house or feed their kids.

You're absolutely heartless cowards who only care about their own bank balance.

I just want to live. Utter bastsrds
Thank you for the kind offers of assistance, but please give to your local Foodbank instead. You can help more people than way. Do it ASAP, and not just a one off. People are going to need them.

This cut is going to cause so much suffering. I'm just so angry.
For the get a job crew:

I can be bed bound at no notice, I care for my autistic son when I can & sometimes require care myself. I live in the Highlands, finding a job is hard enough, let alone a wheelchair accessible one who can accept I might randomly not turn up for months.

Nick Thomas-Symonds MP, Labour’s Shadow Home Secretary, commenting on the sentencing of Sarah Everard’s murderer, said:

"Words cannot express what Sarah’s family and friends have been going through, and our first thoughts today are with them.
"It is right that the perpetrator of this heinous crime will never leave prison but this can never make up for Sarah’s family’s loss.

"All women and girls must be able to have confidence in our police to keep them safe.
"It is very clear that serious mistakes were made and there now must be an urgent, fully transparent and comprehensive investigation to ensure that this never happens again and to ensure women’s confidence and trust in the police.

EXCLUSIVE - A FoI has revealed the @ukhomeoffice knew of a "strong right wing presence" around Napier Barracks in Kent & planned to create a narrative the fence was for asylum seekers safety.

They knew 28 men blocks would have use of 2 toilets, some urinals, 6 sinks & 4 showers.
2/ Here is a list of works carried out by the @ukhomeoffice at Napier Barracks in preparation for housing asylum seekers.

However, this list of repairs and their report on the condition of the Barracks, doesn't fit with the much more grim handover report @DefenceHQ gave them.
3/ The Home Office report says all fire regulations were in order when they took over and no structural problems existed. However, a FoI from the MoD lists rotten fire door, broken windows blocks, rotting windows, structural supports corroded and more.

None of this was rectified

Coal, Cars, Cash and Trees.

Boris Johnson's 4 key areas he just told the #UNGA he wants to use to tackle #climatechange.
Boris Johnson thanks Chinese President Xi Jinping for ending investment in coal production outside China. Calls on him to now tackle coal use in China.

Experienced Scottish Ambulance crisis tonight, not for me.

Purple (highest) call at 10:39 for Point B.

Only a response car was available on entire mapped area at Point A. He arrived at 11:21.

He chased main ambulance, but not wasn't until 12:23.

Crews are run ragged.
It took 1 hour 44 minutes for an ambulance to arrive for the Highest Priority call type: Purple.

They then had to handover from response paramedic, get patient into ambulance & drive 33 miles to the hospital.

Over 2 hours in a life or death situation to even reach a hospital.
The sad thing is, this is extremely common in the Highlands. We have 1 central hospital in Inverness where most ambulances are based.

Smaller stations have 1 or 2, if they can be staffed.

The distances ambulances travel to even see patients is only growing.
