The 🆕 Strategy outlines a plan to achieve targets of vaccinating 40% of the population of all countries against #COVID19 by the end of 2021 and 70% by mid-2022.

To achieve the global #COVID19 vaccination targets, there should be a 3-step vaccination approach in every country:
1⃣ First all older adults, health workers & high-risk groups of all ages
2⃣ Followed by the full adult age group
3⃣ Then all adolescents

#VaccinEquity is required to vaccinate 70% of the global population. There will be sufficient vaccine from a supply perspective to achieve the global #COVID19 vaccination targets, what we need is equitable distribution of those doses around the 🌎🌍🌏

The 🆕 Strategy outlines the priority actions needed from countries, #COVID19 vaccine manufacturers as well as civil society, community organizations, and the private sector to achieve the targets and end the pandemic.
