I've been a #productivity nerd since I read #GTD in 2014. I used @todoist (a great app!) for 6 years.

Moving my system into Roam 19 months ago was life changing. I get more done—and I work on the things that are most important to me.

All that with a simple Daily Cycle:

1. Choose my work in an Agenda on the Daily Notes page

2. Track my work in my Log with a friction-free SmartBlock

3. Capture my ideas & tasks with my Inbox tag

4. Connect what I capture to my GTD Projects and Recurring Actions

And then I do it again the next day.

Try doing all that in a task app. Not a prayer, not unless you have a few other apps open too, all of them vying for your (limited) attention.

Building my custom system in @RoamResearch lets me keep my #GTD flow with my work and notes. They complement each other.
