Our government is currently consulting on a LGBTQ+ Action Plan. We & @LGBAllies_Cymru asked to be involved in its development. Instead they set up an Expert Panel of known supporters of gender ideology. No diversity of opinion, no consideration of other protected characteristics.
Our #CanThePlan report outlines concerns about the draft LGBTQ+ Action Plan - why we think they need to set it aside & start afresh. It contains blog posts, reflections & presentations from experts, @LGBAllies_Cymru & our members exploring diverse issues. merchedcymru.wales/wp-content/upl…

Ar faes y gad o ran cipio sefydliadol, rydyn ni wedi bod yn symud ymlaen ers tro. Ond mae'n teimlo fel bod @StephenNolan newydd droi i fyny gyda thanc! Dolenni i holl benodau'r podlediad yma: bbc.co.uk/programmes/p09…
Here's the inspirational Stephanie Davies-Arai's #CanThePlan webinar presentation:
"The substitution of ‘gender identity’ for ‘sex’ as the distinction between men & women, takes away the rights & protections of girls as the female sex. Gender identity ..> merchedcymru.wales/2021/10/10/lan…

Mae ein hadroddiad #CanThePlan yn amlinellu pryderon ynghylch Cynllun Gweithredu LHDTC+ @LlywodraethCym, a pham rydyn ni'n meddwl bod angen iddyn nhw ei roi o'r neilltu a dechrau o'r newydd.

Yn rhan 1, rydym yn dadlau bod y Cynllun drafft
• yn creu gwrthdaro hawliau >
• bod yr iaith a'r fethodoleg yn ddiffygiol
• heb sylfaen dystiolaeth
• a bod yr argymhellion yn anghynhenid.
Mae Rhan 2 yn cynnwys blogiau a myfyrdodau personol o ystod eang o safbwyntiau, gan gynnwys arbenigwyr yn eu maes, gweithredwyr ac ymgyrchwyr. Mae pob un yn >

In part 1, we argue that the draft Plan
• creates a conflict of rights
• that the language & methodology are flawed
• lacks an evidence-base >
• and that the recommendations are incoherent.
Part 2 includes blog posts & personal reflections from a wide range of perspectives, including experts in their field, activists & campaigners. All are critical of the plan. You can also read the individual blogs on our website.
Dros yr wythnos ddiwethaf rydym wedi tynnu sylw at rai o’r gwahanol ffyrdd gall Deddf Cydraddoldeb 2010 amddiffyn hawliau menywod a merched i fannau, cyfleusterau, chwaraeon a gwasanaethau un rhyw a pham mae diogelu’r gwasanaethau hynny yn bwysig. Mae amddiffyn diogelwch, >
