At 7:45 this morning, I recd a call from our house help-a Nepali family. She wasn’t supposed to come as today was Dussherha- the biggest of festivals for Nepalese around the world. She was excited abt celebrations n had all her relatives invited to her place….it was a SOS call! 
She said-“bhaiya,hamare ghar par police aa rakhi hai. It took me a little to figure out the issue as I knew that she was to be on leave today coz of celebrations at her home.Nepalis cook meat today and it is a day of family feast and all.They too had been rearing goat for months
When I reached there, I saw a girl but no police. The girl was doing recording of their premises and asking Qns. As plot is of my uncle, so I told her to get out of plot as her action was trespassing. She began recording me…. I knew that this must be some PETA shit and all….
I asked her to stop recording and kept telling her to get out of the plot….my tolerance level to BS is generally very lot but I was stretching myself….as she kept recording, so I threw her phone away….to which she began accusing me of physical violence. I called 100 no
But police didn’t turn up. She picked up her phone and began recording again. And she refused to move out. I snatched her phone and kept it in my pocket. Apparently she was there as someone had complained that the family slaughter goats in that plot- which was a baseless lie!
She kept insisting it and the discussion become heated but I was exercising maximum possible restraint despite extreme provocation. I refused to give her phone. Only after she moved out of plot’s boundary, that I handed her the phone as promised….
I came to know from a friend that she is not from PFA but has started her own NGO and has a habit of overreach. I told the girl to leave the family alone but she refused and kept threatening them of police. So I said if u r from PFA why not call Menaka Gandhi jee and she did….
She told Maneka ji that I resorted to verbal & physical violence and supporting slaughter and that it happens regularly. Fortunately I had Maneka Ji’s no and I called her up & she picked up my phone and she listened to me calmly-i narrated her whole incident & how girl is lying
She replied- “beta, I am inclined to believe u, u just talk to her and see if u can calm her down; she is not from PFA”. I told the girl that the family can give in writing that they have not slaughtered any goat and were rearing it for their use- which that family did…..
I told her that she is ruining their festival- it is a big day for Nepalis but she didn’t relent. I asked her if she does same on Eid, which is when she said - “u know Eid one is allowed under Sec 28”-I read out for her & said if it applies to Eid, then it applies to them as well
She said no, I said but india has no Shariat that u can use Section 28 to justify their inaction on Eid but use same section 28 to deny Hindus. Everyone around us said same thing - she left, only to return with police this time …..
Again I was called as she returned with two policemen this time. So I went and requested police to not intervene - they were sympathetic but they said she has given application and we have no option but to call the head of family to meet SHO… but they said we know it is all ok
Our house help’s husband visited PS and there she took a declaration from him in writing that he will not part with goat and will be open to inspection by her and all. I told him to tell her to take goat for 9000 which is the tentative price of the goat- she refused …..
Police was hugely cooperative & so was Menaka Jee but girl was absolutely crack; however what I found out was this section 28-prob is that those who fight on social media don’t encounter these issues on ground / it is easy to blame govts n police for action but all r helpless
If a female starts to create ruckus, then u r left with no option but to be restrained - she was recording me inside premises under our family’s watch - yet she cud accuse me of physical violence- police was understanding but helpless….this is how woke culture is destroying us!
In the process, a poor family’s festival that they look upto and wait for whole year was ruined- and neither Govt not police is at fault - point is that those who shout on SM will never try legal route in such cases- that is a tough route; blaming on SM is easy!
Folks are so far removed from ground realities and it takes a lot to stand by someone in need and that too against such crackpots. Day didn’t end good either with hearing absues for saying something that is a fact- issues on ground are nothing as is visible from social media!
