Just a small ex of perspective.

For past few days, lot of ppl are blaming Govt for attacks on Bangladeshi Hindus; some even went to the extent of blaming CAA for this and how electoral considerations made govt do that and blah blah-it is another matter that CAA came after 2019!
It was in end 2004, when I visited Dhaka & I remember how hostile it was during those days.I was stopped by BD army enroute my hotel in Gulshan area and just because I could feel the hate in the way they talked and checked my passport….to cut long story short, it was bad for us!
The hostility for Indians in in BD then existed at both -Govt & societal level. Thanks to Indian support and more so after @narendramodi govt came in, hostility of the Hasina Govt toward India has become a thing of past-so much so that Islamist parties accuse her of Indian agent!
Despite such label that Hasina is regularly handed, still she came out against attack and said this - @KanchanGupta dada’s tweet as exact words and even translation. Surely, this wouldnt have been the case, had there been a certain Khaleda Zia in power in Dhaka!
So what do we do? Shall Indian govt send army there or pull up a govt that is their biggest friend in Dhaka. If social media narrative is to be believed then instead of @narendramodi govt helping Hasina govt walk it’s talk, we should give up whatever lever we have in Dhaka!
And mind you, openly Islamist regime in Dhaka with its new found prosperity will be several time dangerous than an impoverished Pakistan. And always on the prowl China is waiting. Anyways as I said, perseptive matters - change it and u will find reason in what Govt is doing!

In less than 2 years, I have seen some very good friends of Twitter & belonging to the same ideological spectrum as me, become an adversary.
Does this causes me pain; of course it does. Was I at fault; of course not. So, what went wrong?

Let me try & analyse in this thread!
Firstly are we (me & my friends from twitter as mentioned in the quoted tweet) really an adversary?

The answer is an emphatic NO! Then where is the problem?

After an analysis, I realised that it is all that war between perception & perspective!

It occurred to me that relationships formed on SM can sustain itself only if we have similar perspectives or perceptions.
Other option is to allow “let us agree to disagree” maxim become cornerstone of bonds. Else, very nature of social media will end up consuming what u create!

Don’t say that he is not a Nihang- he was facilitated before his arrest by his jattha.

Reality is that modern day Sikhi is hostage of those who find common cause with the ideology, it was raised (from Hindus) to fight against!

They are agents of Izlamiztz from across border!
It was Indian media and public alike who glorified and mainstreamed these people protesting at Singhu border timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/awe…
When this @RakeshTikaitBKU said that they don’t represent farmers, he is lying - they celebrated this moment when Nihangs joined them news18.com/news/india/gro…

At 7:45 this morning, I recd a call from our house help-a Nepali family. She wasn’t supposed to come as today was Dussherha- the biggest of festivals for Nepalese around the world. She was excited abt celebrations n had all her relatives invited to her place….it was a SOS call! Image
She said-“bhaiya,hamare ghar par police aa rakhi hai. It took me a little to figure out the issue as I knew that she was to be on leave today coz of celebrations at her home.Nepalis cook meat today and it is a day of family feast and all. They too had been rearing goat for months
When I reached there, I saw a girl but no police. The girl was doing recording of their premises and asking Qns. As plot is of my uncle, so I told her to get out of plot as her action was trespassing. She began recording me…. I knew that this must be some PETA shit and all….

Why make changes in area limits in border areas-
1) to bring in uniformity by making it uniform for 50 kms limit for all border states with non hill terrain like Guj, Bengal, Punjab and Assam- 50 kms limit is for hot pursuits within 1 hour range
2) 15 kms for hilly n NE states

I know usual suspects within Uttarakhand will call FLS sanction by @narendramodi Govt for Tanakpur- Bageshwar Railway line as an election gimmick- but let me share my views as to why it is NOT a gimmick but a huge development that will make this line a reality - thread follows!
What is FLS in the context of Railways?
Ans) Once route of new line is decided, FLS is done-
a) To study the contour maps
b) To prepare working details
c) To make accurate cost estimates
d) To prepare working details and make accurate cost estimates

In short it is DPR!
It can take anywhere b/w 1-2 years to complete FLS, it is done by efficient agency - given the experience of @RailVikas ,I feel it would be good if @AshwiniVaishnaw run ministry allots this survey to RVNL (gvn Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail experience) instead of Moradabad division.

Very good thread - democracy 1.0 comes with these associated risks and that’s why world of democracy has to evolve…especially in a country like India where corruption pervades every societal layer & one’s capacity to indulge/ or not in corruption is dependent on the opportunity!
That we tend to regard everyone, with access to an opportunity to indulge in making money by illicit means, as corrupt, is a example of society we live in. But brighter side of our society is that we also idolise everyone who conducts differently- @narendramodi is an ex of this!
One good thing about BJP is that it has an inbuilt mechanism where people who representing it leadership positions within states as CM are generally immune to corruption. They operate a cleaner administration and this is hallmark of BJP- u may not accept it but it is a reality!
