1. #Norway has been instrumental in promoting the YP internationally. Undoubtedly this has encouraged other Nordic states to adopt the YP into their policies/legislation.

5. Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are not the only Foreign Ministry who have strategic partnerships with LGBT organisations.

6. There appears to be a global trend in which the Foreign Ministries of countries including the UK (see below article), Finland, Sweden, Germany, Malta, Australia, Canada, USA and others (see tweets 7,8,9) support and fund LGBT organisations/projects.

11. It becomes clear as to why so many European Foreign Ministries are promoting the concept of gender identity. In 2013 the Foreign Affairs Council EU adopted the LGBTI Guidelines to instruct EU diplomats around the globe to 'defend LGBTI rights'.
