So @ShekharGupta just to jog your memory a little bit, this was a meeting from April 15, 1988 meeting organised by @INTERPOL_HQ & attended by police chiefs of 40 countries who had assembled to discuss ways and means of curbing narcoterrorism- yaad aaya kuch Shekhar Gupta Jee?

Shri @ShekharGupta for decades- not yrs before 2020-u never realised the draconian NDPS law. Need i tell u why Rajiv Gandhi passed this law in Sep 1985- within 3 months of his famous visit to meet Reagan? Need I tell u why he meekly surrendered the gains of 24 yrs of resistance?

Yes @ShekharGupta NDPS Act didn’t become draconian now- it became draconian the day Indian parliament passed, using @RahulGandhi ‘s dad brute majority, passed it against much noise of opposition and only to benefit Americans- who had his neck via a man called Adil Shehrayar!

NDPS was passed to ratify Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs treaty of 1961,India resisted until that fateful moment. Had @RahulGandhi ‘s dad not surrendered before Ronald Reagan then, neither Aryan Khan not @deepikapadukone would have had to face NCB as smoking grass was legal!

But why would u blame @RahulGandhi ‘s dad,@ShekharGupta ? After all they have bid for and had bought ur voice and pen for years. How dare can u question Rajeev Gandhi for his folly of passing NDPS 1985 in the first instance to allow control to move to Manufacturing states group!

You must thank the "vengeful state" headed by @narendramodi for opening your closed eyes to the dangers of NDPS- that you first cheered in 1988 while reporting on the Interpol conference as a cub reporter working for @aroonpurie 's magazine!

Come 2013 & u suddenly discovered that boy who, u so glowingly introduced to ur viewers in 2007 “walk the talk” interview, was a convict in a terror related issue.

After @RajkumarHirani movie began by thanking Raj Thackeray, abusing journalists; @ShekharGupta suddenly discovered Sanjay Dutt was involved in a crime involving 71 AK rifles, 3.5T of RDX & 500 grenades.

Notwithstanding ur propaganda, “Maa Behen Ki” journalists is wrong indeed!
