How to stop your affiliate marketing from being MURDERED!

Exposing the truth behind the lies you’ve heard from your gurus.

They won’t like this 👇

>>> A Thread 🧵 <<<
This thread will hurt some people.
I’m fine with that.

Because newbies are being exploited. And I don’t like that.

So in this thread I’ll tell you:
• The pros of affiliate marketing
• The cons
• The exploits
• The pitfalls
• How to do it right

Let’s begin 👇
Affiliate marketing is like the hot lady standing alone in the club.

It seems like she’s easy prey…
But she might be standing there for another reason.

She might be looking to scam a gullible man.

And who’s gullible?
Newbies.

And they fall for it.
Here’s why:
It seems like affiliate marketing doesn’t require any skills.

And that’s how they sell it to you.
(They = the gurus).

And they’re right.
Or so it seems.
Because they’re wrong.

Are you confused yet? Let’s make it all crystal clear for you:
There are two sides to affiliate marketing.

The course creators side (or SaaS etc)…

And the affiliate marketer side (you).

The course creators gets “passive” money from your sales.

If he’s smart?
He will also upsell people YOU bring in on more products.

But…
He will NOT share the profits with you on those.

That’s what the smart ones do.
And I have no problem with it so far.

Fair game.

But you as an affiliate… do you understand what you’re doing?

You’re building a business.. for someone else…

Who convinced you…
That you’re building YOUR own business.

👆
That’s not true for 99.9% of the “affiliate marketers” on Twitter.

In fact…
I wouldn’t call them affiliate marketers.

I would call them “gullible spammers”.
Now…

I’m not attacking the affiliates.
They don’t know any better.

So…
Let me paint you a picture of how most do affiliate marketing:

They write a tweet.
It gains traction.
They plug in the affiliate link below.

THE SMART ONES do that👆

And that’s fine.
You’ll make your weekend beer money doing that.

But…

You have to understand this:
There is literally no difference between doing that…

And working in McDonald’s.

Actually there is…
You’ll most likely make more money working in McDonald’s.

Especially if you wear the hat and smile for the bonus.

But why do I say that?
Get this:
With every “affiliate tweet” you tweet…

You’re not only killing your engagement…

You’re also lowering the chances of anyone buying from you. Ever.

Why?
Who wants to buy from someone who’s spamming the same old piece of crap every day?

So…
It might seem..
For a short time..

That you’re building something.

But in the long run?
Your Twitter account will die.

And you’ll make a couple grand getting there..

But don’t you prefer to build a REAL business instead?

Let me tell you what I mean:
Some people on Twitter flashing “I made $600 this week with affiliate marketing”…

Now here’s what’s funny.

1. Usually the people flashing that are the course creators. Not affiliates.

2. $600/week is not a business. It’s hardly minimum wage in many countries.

Just saying…
So how do you build a REAL affiliate marketing business?

You need four parameters:

1. To have something of your own
2. To be able to stack progress
3. To build value
4. To be able to promote whatever you want

And let me tell you what I mean:
1. Have something of your own

Have your own community. Email list. Anything that does this:

2. Stack progress

Make sure that your ASSET from point 1 is growing. Not declining.

This can only be achieved if it’s YOURS - and if number 3 works:
3. Add value

If you’re only spamming a link to a sales page..

That’s no value.
That’s spam.

So the person will not come back to buy something else tomorrow.

Which leads us to point 4…

4. Be able to promote whatever you want

Why is that important? Here’s why:
If you keep promoting the same product time after time (like most do)…

You’re literally CUTTING off 10s of %s of your potential profit every single day.

Lemme explain:
You have 5,000 (followers/community members/email subscribers etc)…

Now…
How many of them are gonna buy?
Lemme tell you a secret.

In most markets there are around 5% of people who are easy to sell to.

They’ll buy everything.

Then there’s like 10% who will buy if you convince them enough.

And the rest?
God help you.

But… you see… when you’ve tweeted ONCE… some bought. Right?
Well - those who bought are the low hanging fruit.

The 5%.

Then you tweeted again.
Some more bought.

But they can’t buy the same product. Can they??

So the more you tweet about the same product.. the less money you make.

Same with emails and anything else. So…
Here’s the RIGHT WAY to do affiliate marketing:

Step 1: understand you need SKILLS.

Step 2: build your own email list

Step 3: build it around YOURSELF and your value. Not someone else’s product.

Step 4: keep adding value. Once in a while sell something.

And step 5…
Step 5: don’t look at it as an affiliate marketing business.

Look at it as A BUSINESS.

Sell your own products if you can create some.

Do collabs.

Add value.

Create connections.

It’s A BUSINESS.
Otherwise? I’m sorry. You don’t have a business. You’re a slave.

So..
Make sure you’re not being mislead.

Make sure you know what you’re doing.

Make sure not to fall into the trap. Build skills.

Make sure you sell products you believe in. Don’t choose by “who pays most”.

Because remember: you’re building a business.

And most importantly…
Make sure you retweet the first tweet.

Make sure bad people are not taking advantage of newbies.

They have to know the truth. Let’s help them.

Retweet the first tweet 👇

Money Twitter presented a NEW opportunity for copywriters to make $5-10k/mo.

Which ANYONE can easily use…

Here’s a predictable method to grow from a beginner to an expert copywriter…

While earning…
And working part-time.

>>> A Thread 🧵 <<<
Before I tell you how to do it…
Here’s one thing NOT to do:

Do not write copy that is selling something.

Not ads.
And definitely not long-form sales pages…

Why?
Because you’re just not good enough for it to work.

So you’ll just fail and ruin your name.

So what do you do?
You start with ghost-tweeting.

It’s ghostwriting…
But for Twitter.

And here’s why it’s so crazy good:

There are many wealthy people who want to grow their Twitter but don’t want to be hands-on.

More than that…

You’ll become better and better…

Would you like to take a sneak peak behind the curtain…

Of marketing for a startup that raised millions?

Step-by-step…
Done by me?

Here’s how 👇
I am starting to work with a startup.

Now…
You might know…

I HATE CLIENTS!

I haven’t touched a single thing for clients for 2 or so years now.

Not even consultation.
Not one ad.
Not one call.

So why did I start working with them?
They reached out to me almost six months ago.

I said no.
And no again.
And again.

But their VP is a good friend of my previous mentor.

So after he asked me to help them… I decided to try.

But there was one more reason. I wanted the challenge! Here’s why:

The last sales page I wrote sold $600,000. But…

The first version sold $0.

This forced me to learn how to fix a sales page that doesn’t sell. So…

Here are the 8 ways you can use yourself.

>>> A Thread 🧵 <<<
Let me be honest with you.
If you don’t understand this…

Stop reading:

Click -> View -> ATC -> IC -> Pur

Why?
Because if you don’t know your numbers… not even god can help you.

So let’s quickly break it down first and then move to the techniques themselves:
Click -> View

Where a person clicks on your link to get to the sales page.

View -> ATC

From landing on your page to clicking the “Add to Cart” button

ATC -> IC

From clicks the Add to Cart button to getting to the Initial Checkout page

IC -> Pur

Last step of the purchase.

Will my Twitter account make $83,300/mo?

>>> A Thread 🧵 <<<
This is a story about how I was FORCED to make money out of my Twitter account…

And how I’m gonna leverage it to make more money than my Twitter account actually can.

Sounds weird.
I know.
But let me explain…
About a month ago I started getting dozens of DMs per day.

Most of them said something along those lines:

“George teach me copy”

I started answering all of them.
Discussions. Hours upon hours. With each person.

Burned through my time like it’s worth nothing.

But…

Storytelling is the driving force behind copywriting.

But you probably never noticed…

How Hollywood controls your attention using storytelling…

And how world-class copywriters do so too:

>>> A Thread 🧵 <<<
If you’re new to copywriting you might think…

What’s so great about stories?

And there are many things “normal people” know about:

• stories get attention
• they’re interesting
• they evoke emotions

Etc. but there’s more:
Copywriters who understand persuasion also know two more things about stories:

1. Stories create empathy
2. Stories remove resistance

Look. It’s simple:
If I say “you’ll lose 20 pounds” - you might object…

But if I say “Sally lost 20 pounds” - there’s nothing to object to..

How to DOMINATE an industry using only two words.

Did you know…
That you could take the biggest content creators on Twitter…

And beat them at their own game?
They might hate me for this…

But they’ll gain a lot more by reading this 👇

>>> A Thread 🧵 <<<
I promised you can do this with two words.

Here they are.

• Positioning
• Awareness

That’s all you need.
Lemme explain how.

But for this we’ll need to take an industry as an example.

Let’s take cold emails as an example for an industry.

Fair?
Here it is:
If we look at the cold email industry we’ll see a few big dogs.

But…
What are they selling?

They’re selling “how to do cold emails”.

And.. Who are they selling to?

They are selling to people who are aware.

They’re aware of a solution called cold emails.
So…
