@mssrf @nias_india team launches new Climate Equity Monitor @Equity4Climate climateequitymonitor.in . First developing country website of its kind, founded on equity and differentiation. To promote awareness on climate change as a global collective action problem.

Assessments of equity and differentiation based on the science of cumulative emissions and carbon budgets. Not bogus "science of net zero." And the balance sheet of carbon debt of the developed countries.

Also focusing on tremendous inequalities in resource consumption and electricity supply. The gap between responsibility and action from developed countries!! Everyone should see the numbers first.

As the crunch of the climate crisis comes closer, equity and climate justice are more important. Not less as some would have it. Providing a third world voice, not others claiming to speak for us.

Great teamwork, with @KanitkarT leading the charge and notable contribution by @sciencebwoy. Technical implementation by Paperplane Solutions and wonderful support from MSSRF IT team of Rajamanikkam, Srinivasan and Guru. Much more work to do, but a happy beginning.
