Back in Uni, I had a friend who could never stand gay people , not like he hated them or anything, he just could not understand what was so interesting on a guys body. He would steer clear of you but you dare not walk up to him to say any gay shit or propose Jack to him.
I on the other hand was indifferent about those gay guys, it was a thing in Unilag and quite a number of people cared less. I remember my first confrontation with a gay guy, I was late for lab and was pretty much agitated only to see this one at my desk and frankly
I said what is this fag doing here, dude just went ghetto on me, clapping his hands with the boos , saying stuffs like "I'm gay, you're a batch, fat ass" I exploded with laughter.. like why would a guy clap his hands in a Diss.. it was beyond hilarious
I had some gay friends too, I mean it's your life and choice, I don't need to judge you. That been said , one of the things we need to understand is that not everybody will accept you for being straight and not everyone will accept you for being a home or any other gender
Variety is the spice of life, just like I'm not a fan of some fruits and some foods does not mean I have a phobia for them, I won't judge you if you eat them, you however cannot force me to like those fruits. What I would not appreciate if you cause me physical harm over it
So if a guy or a lady says " I'm straight" respectfully leave them be and stop with the " you don't know what you are missing " crap or "wait till I handle you " nonsense. There will be others who like to explore or kinda have the idea of the thrill you offer, go after those
Stop wasting your time on the unnecessary PR. I can tell you for free that even at a gun point some people will die straight. Your life, your choice, if you feel you are not accepted , then stick to those that accept your kind. Don't brand people as homophobic or whatever
I don't have to accept you for you to be valid. Infact, I don't need to accept you. Accept yourself and validate yourself. Don't stress others with it. You don't even need the emotional blackmail and the mental health shii to force us into accepting you.
Be 2+LGBTQS in peace and enjoy your life. Others will be their straight selves and enjoy their lives too. After all, we all have a will and the right to choose what works for us and that should be our priority.
