Here's a great post from @NATS on the technical side of how this synchronized departure worked since it isn't something that's typically possible at Heathrow.
With that arrival, I honestly don't know when we'll ever see a real resumption of the Speedbird 1 flight number. What flight or aircraft will ever be special enough to use it again?

.@AmericanAir will discontinue its Shuttle branded northeast product as a part of the Northeast Alliance with @JetBlue.
If passengers want flexibility and shuttle-like perks, there's a new fare brand called Main Select that includes some priority and Main Cabin Extra. #PaxEx
Here's me in 2019: "These two Shuttle flights felt like any other. The Shuttle term has become so watered down that I’m not sure if it even means anything anymore."
Happy 2021 and good morning from New York's Penn Station! I've spent countless hours of my life waiting for trains in this underground dump.
That ends today. Sort of. Let's go take a look at the new Moynahan Train Hall, officially opened as of today 🎉
First off is the new @LIRR concourse entrance on 7th Ave. It's a grand entrance with a great piece of artwork - a map!
Moynihan Train Hall has several new entrances along 8th Avenue. These entrances opened a little while ago for access to @LIRR's West End Cooridor but now allow full access to the train hall.
The @flightradar24 data for #PS752 ends with the airspeed staying constant but the altitude increasing before suddenly cutting out. Nothing stands out at a glance.
Here we go! #Super80Sendoff is underway. I'm at @DFWAirport to join @AmericanAir as it celebrates the end of MD80/Super80 "Mad Dog" service.
Will be headed out to Roswell, New Mexico to watch the final flights land.
Does anyone know what happened to GPS/ADS-B last night? The issue seemed to be quite widespread with a lot of aircraft grounded.
Something very strange happened.
Lucky that this happened late on a Saturday night. Has this happened on a weekday this would have been leading headlines on national news. Some sort of GPS fault grounded a chunk of the US commercial fleet and hardly anybody noticed.
