That's awfully fast. I fear the White men who killed an unarmed Black man in Georgia will go free. That would be another win for vigilantism. And a devastating loss for the family & justice in America.

Trump admits that he knew—at the time—that the angry mob he directed to go to the Capitol to fight were hunting to kill Mike Pence in the Capitol. And Trump defends it—on tape: "Well, the people were very angry"
Trump's all-consuming self-promoting depravity is shocking tho not surprising.

Also pretty shocking: Trump admits in @JonKarl audio that what he wanted Pence to do on Jan6—what he directed his angry mob to get Pence to do on 1/6—was only 50/50 legal, according to HIS own lawyers
@jonkarl Trump's "50/50" remark shows he knew his harebrained coup using Pence to stop Biden's election certification—cementing his loss—was unconstitutional. His own kraken "constitutional scholars" told him 50/50. Yet he sicced a violent mob on lawmakers anyway. And watched it on TV.

Democrats don't have a branding problem in rural America. They have a GOP media monopoly problem. The key fact in this story: white rural voters are fueled by a conservative media bubble that speaks in apocalyptic terms, convincing ppl that America's on the brink b/c of Dems.
Democrats can have the best branding, but if voters only consume right-wing radio & TV, right-wing propagandists are defining Dems. Dems' message can't reach voters living in GOP propaganda media bubble. That's what's gotten progressively worse. We're seeing it in these numbers.
Right-wing media is a drumbeat of demonization & disinformation. Have you listened to talk radio lately?? It's North Korea level crazy assaulting ppl's brains w/ fear & anxiety. Ds & sane Rs should join forces, buy radio stations, launch news channels in those media markets. BUT

🤨#Durham's indictment of #Danchenko on 5 counts of lying to the FBI suggests in ¶5 that both Crossfire Hurricane & the Mueller probe "relied substantially" on the Steele Dossier ("Company Report"). But really this is only about the Carter Page FISAs. Don't write like this, kids.
Still reading Danchenko indictment, but this early sentence in ¶5 seems to confirm Durham's political mission to nip at the edges to create the FALSE impression that Mueller's Russia investigation is discredited. I mean "In connection with" is doing a whole lotta BS work here imo
ICYMI The Mueller report debunked the Steele dossier. How do you "substantially rely on" something you debunk? You don't. But Durham's indictment of Danchenko tosses it in anyway, w/ a specious reference to the Special Counsel's Russia investigation. Argh. apnews.com/article/techno…

Shocker: fascist AND racist. Eastman got on the Trump campaign’s radar with a birther-y article he wrote questioning @KamalaHarris’ legitimacy to be POTUS b/c her parents were immigrants. Jenna Ellis—another disbarment waiting to happen—brought it to Trump’s attention in a tweet.
