TWEETSTORM TIME!

Tonight's title: Splash Wildebeest
#Magic at #Sixers

Bamba returns! But we weren't worried there, really. The bigger news is Jalen Suggs broke a thumb and that changes things here with Cole Anthony still out.
Oh, the universe says I'm supposed to tag these threads with #FantasyBasketball so we'll just do that here and see how it goes.
Anyway, Anthony is in line for all the work when he gets back, but in the short term one has to think RJ Hampton is going to see a ton of PG mins. His game isn't proven at the category-league level but he should be worth an add as a potential stream while Anthony is out.
I think Suggs going down might also elevate Franz Wagner (provided his own ankle twist isn't a big deal) from streamer level to maybe 1 cut above that. But this one is less certain.
The Sixers are fairly predictable again with Tobias and Embiid back, but we're going to watch the Danny Green / Matisse Thybulle situation closely. You have to HOLD on Matisse for now - he's simply been too good - but keep an eye on the mins going forward.
#Nuggets @ #Heat

It seems, to everyone's great surprise, Denver is better with Jokic. Barton is a go, too. I know Aaron Gordon played well but I just can't bring myself to take that plunge. Someone else can ride the AG fantasy rollercoaster. Not i!
I streamed Facundo Campazzo in a league where I knew I'd need assists and steals and that half-worked, but that's very much NOT a roto level move.
Jimmy Butler sat so Caleb Martin got the start and he's probably worth a h2h stream if Butler misses any more time. Max Strus banged in 6 threes and might fall into that same dept. I'm not rolling either in a 12-team roto games cap but h2h there's some potential there.
On Adebayo, he had a big game but the complete lack of blocks all year is getting a bit nuts. He's down there with point guards, and I have to assume it means his knee isn't right. His lift seems okay but something is amiss. If you have him, ride it out. If you don't...
.. I think an argument could be made pretty easily to BUY on Bam for something like a top-50 guy, but I honestly just don't know if his knee is going to get better and his blocks would follow. Yes, they SHOULD but something is up. It's a risky move but it could pay off.
#Pacers @ #Wolves

Myles Turner sat so TJ McConnell started? Pretty weird, there, but it does give TJ a bit more fantasy cred if he's going to be the guy who gets plopped into the starting 5 when almost any starter is down. That changes him from a streamer guy to a hold for me.
Not much else here besides the Justin Holiday StealsWatch ended with him finally getting 1.
#Thunder @ #Rockets

Christian Wood at center seems to have dramatically changed the Rockets fortunes, team-wide. Jae'Sean Tate looks far better at PF and he's probably an ADD just to see if any of this can stick.
Garrison Mathews is mostly filling in for Jalen Green but he's a nice short term scoring stream.

Sengun is taking a step back with Wood soaking up most of the "C" mins so that stash just got harder to stomach long term.
And even KPJ seems more at ease in this configuration, though he's always going to have his warts. SELL on him after a few big ones like we're in right now. Target top-75 and see if someone bites. If not, work down toward 85 or 90. As low as 100 range is okay, I would say.
Thunder are bleh. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was a speculative add and a bench guy to watch and he soiled this game. That's why you don't just throw guys into the lineup. He's probably droppable for something sparkly.
Tre Mann had a nice game but the mere fact that we hadn't said that before November 29 should tell you I need to see it about 3 more times before I even put it on my radar.
#Hornets @ #Bulls

Charlotte cares not for defense! Other than the obvious stuff here, Kelly Oubre Jr has been on a heater, but his lack of non-scoring stats is always going to cap his ceiling on this team. I'm okay if you want to add but I don't think it'll matter.
And PJ Washington, as noted on the podcast, is a terrific play while Mason Plumlee remains out.
VUCEVIC LIVES.

The buy low window is shut.

Did you get in there beforehand? Hope so!
#Wizards @ #Spurs

The Wizards have lost that edge, and frankly, they need Bradley Beal to play better to overcome games where the team-wide play isn't as strong. I'm still very pro-Daniel Gafford, as an unrelated aside.
Derrick White ALSO working on slamming his buy low window with 2 solid weeks of play.

We pushed to buy on him HARD on the podcast so this one feels extra fine.
#Cavaliers @ #Mavericks

I kinda wanted to tag this one Cavs/Mavs or Cavaliers vs Mavaliers or Cavericks vs Mavericks...
Cavs are kinda fun, is the main thing. Remember when we noted that Markkanen was in the 80's after about 2 weeks and was also at the low point of where he could be? Well, he's about 3 rounds above that now and climbing.

Only Rubio couldn't hit shots and he's a hold.
Our roto games cap buddy Porzingis is hurt again, and that's how it goes with him. Enjoy the wild per-game upside and just deal with the missed games. Maxi Kleber is a decent add if KP misses a few games, which he almost always does.
Jalen Brunson was a mess in his first game back but I think we should give him some room to wake back up. He was playing way too well when he got hurt.
#Blazers @ #Jazz

Yuck, Portland. RoCo bad, but I'm still holding there. Nance bad and I think you can dump him. Simons and Little are going to vie for Norm's touches and Simons mostly won that struggle tonight. And boy was this game a struggle...
The Jazz haven't had a fantasy valuation change in about 3 years. Deep league Rudy Gay I guess is fun.
#Pelicans @ #Clippers

Apparently the Clippers kryptonite is ... the Pels? Jonas Valanciunas went FULL MEGA SPLASH WILDEBEEST and it was glorious.

Herb Jones was solid and I can't help but wonder if he's the solution at PF until Zion shows up
Would I start Jones in roto? Doubtful I'd have the stones, but in h2h I think I'd give in and use a weekly move and see how he goes the rest of this stretch.
DrayJosh Hart was on full display in this one...
The Clippers side had a couple minor notes with Serge Ibaka getting 26 mins while Marcus Morris sat this one out and Ivica Zubac's role no longer safe. Zu is sliding toward the chopping block as the Clips get healthy and we kinda had a feeling this might come.
Zu had been on a nice run but Serge and Morris coming back at almost the same time was always going to put a squeeze on his mpg.

Can Serge play 25mpg? I doubt it very much.

Probably could have started this sooner ... IT'S TWEETSTORM TIME!

Every Sunday through Thursday, Twitter friends!

As always, PLEASE Like/RT to the best of your ability!

From the top!

#FantasyBasketball
#Nuggets @ #Magic

I have way more to type here than Twitter can fit so please do listen to the pod tomorrow, but the quick version is that Cole Anthony makes Orlando quite a bit better.
Various injuries and just the general hot and cold spells of the season have moved Franz Wagner back into a startable position of late, though we also know a cooldown drops him back into that 160 range. Feel free to stream while he's hot if you can catch the right wave.

Not a ton of games but some interesting TWEETSTORM WORTHY developments.

Lemme see some QTs tonight, eh friends?

Title: The Dwight Game
#Grizzlies @ #Raptors

A few things jump out on the Grizz side beyond just JJJ having a juicy one and Bane continuing to romp without Ja.

Thing 1 - Melton only got 17 mins. He tried to make the most of them with a usage of 35 but 17 mins is gross no matter how it goes.
I'm going to hang tight because while we all know Jenkins likes to yank him around, this is just ... come on. If it happens again, then I guess we just call Tyus Jones the guy who soaks up all the newly found mins and go from there.

On Jones, he played 34 mins and...

The wife has some patient notes to write, so I suppose I can carve out some time for this JUMBO STYLE TWEETSTORM.

Let's see if I can make it through to the end in one piece. It was a behemoth.

RTs/Likes always appreciated!

Title: Wait, Who Got Hurt?
#Suns @ #Cavaliers

Look at big JaVale. Hah! I have a soft spot for him, and honestly he hasn't been that bad lately. He's a dynamite fill-in if Ayton misses time again down the road. In the interim, he's more of a 14 or 16 teamer. Still fun, though.
Kevin Love is very much in the streamer discussion but not a games cap level guy. Jarrett Allen's FG% is robust. But overall, no particularly earth-shattering fantasy valuation changes.

TWEETSTORM TUESDAY 11/23/21 -

"AD's Flu Game, Not Quite"

RTs/Likes appreciated

Again, doing these Sunday through Thursday nights, off Fri and Sat going forward.
#Heat @ #Pistons

Not a ton of thoughts on this game. Miami missed a bunch of FTs or some of the fantasy lines could have been a bit more decent.

Adebayo's assists are near 4 over the last 2 weeks, but his knee continues to concern me. Probably just...
... hold your breath and hope he doesn't miss many more games for it because the other stuff is moving in the direction we wanted/expected.

For the Pistons, I'm enjoying the Cory Joseph stream with Killian Hayes out. Make sure to yank CoJo the moment Killian returns.

TWEETSTORM MONDAY TIME!

Title: Gobert, Back in the Top 18

Yeah, you know where this is headed.

RTs and Likes, as always, are the steam in my engine.
#Nets @ #Cavaliers

LMA played great again and he's absolutely a must-start guy in games cap formats. Harder to deal with on the rest days in h2h but he's been so good lately he probably hangs on even there. Mills is a nice stream with Harris out.
Markkanen and Allen came back from various illnesses and looked great. Fire 'em up! Kevin Love is somehow hanging onto deep league value but his little baby-sized window to play more is gone. As is Ed Davis. Isaac Okoro needs to show me more consistency before I add there.
