A few things jump out on the Grizz side beyond just JJJ having a juicy one and Bane continuing to romp without Ja.
Thing 1 - Melton only got 17 mins. He tried to make the most of them with a usage of 35 but 17 mins is gross no matter how it goes.
I'm going to hang tight because while we all know Jenkins likes to yank him around, this is just ... come on. If it happens again, then I guess we just call Tyus Jones the guy who soaks up all the newly found mins and go from there.
On Jones, he played 34 mins and...
...that's probably the more important part to me than the lackluster line. I liked the 3 steals and 6 assists and if he doesn't go 2-for-10 from the field it's not that bad of a line. HOLD.
On the Raptors side, Yuta Watanabe ended up grabbing most of the available Trent Jr. (and OG) mins. I'm not going to take the plunge on any of these fill-in types.
Also, can Achiuwa really be this bad offensively? I need to watch more film but this is wild.
He'd almost have appeal if he shot 50-60% like a center is supposed to but as it stands now he's not close and the defensive stats aren't there, so just let this one roll on by.
This was a fun one with a bunch of fantasy notes on the Knicks side.
Pre-game we learned Kemba Walker has been smushed into a carry-on and tucked in an overhead compartment and Alec Burks is set to go buck wild.
We called him an add last Friday, but this one...
... made it quite obvious.
Derrick Rose also came back and he steps into a terrific spot, too. He's a must-add guy.
Break the bank for Burks. Maybe don't break the bank but make a nice withdrawal for Rose.
And then on Quickley, I have mixed feelings.
He's going to get playing time, though not as much as tonight when RJ Barrett isn't battling a cold/flu, but he also relies HEAVILY on shot volume for his value.
I think I'm going to put IQ as an ADD in POINTS formats, and in 9-cat he's probably a very strong streamer.
He might very well get over that hump but his rebs and defensive stats are low and his FG% is bad. It'll take some serious pts/FT/3's/assists to overcome those shortcomings in fantasy. (still talking of Quickley, here)
Joe Harris had surgery on the Nets side, so Patty Mills is in solid shape for a while. Slow game here but he's a good 3-pt specialist that can really pop off.
Also, it seems like FT-killer DeAndre' Bembry is here to stay. I can't deal with the FT issues so just leave that alone.
Not as many notes on the remaining 3 games, but still a few. THT had a little leg tweak in the 3rd quarter but he was stinking it up anyway. Still, he's the logical starter and beneficiary of Bron being in COVID protocols.
Monk had the huge game but he's not going to be this hot most nights so I think you can probably ADD THT. I might not start him in roto games cap if the Lakers are really going hot hand, but in h2h it'll probably average out to top-110-120 range for the next 2 weeks.
And perhaps more interestingly, Dwight Howard got the 2nd half starting nod over the SMOE (slowest man on earth) DeAndre Jordan. It worked out well, and I have to wonder if they'd give him another try and just pray Dwight can avoid foul trouble or go small if he does get some
We all know Dwight's free throw issues, so it's a huge roll of the dice and he only attempted 3 in this game, but he's a potential add at center if you're desperate for boards, blocks and FG%. I shudder as I type it but it's not an insane idea.
Carmelo Anthony's heater is officially over (and has been for about 5 games), so we can probably give the full drop suggestion there.
And then Avery Bradley being out freed up Wayne Ellington for a start and I'd love a short term stream there if we knew Bradley's status.
The Kings are still down a few forwards (Barnes, Bagley, Harkless), so I'm not sure I'm going to bother with the fill-ins, though Metu has the best outlook of any if all 3 of those PFs are out again in the Kings next ballgame.
Dame got a scheduled rest day against a bad Pistons team and it worked fine. Anfernee Simons is the fill-in option, there, and RoCo was a little bit better even if he didn't have to play down the stretch. Nance did. It's annoying. Nance is droppable.
I don't think you just dump RoCo for the sake of dumping but with the insanely valuable FAs popping up this week, the "drop needs" are starting to creep up the board. Still, I reckon most teams have 1-2 guys they'd dump before getting to Cov.
Isaiah Stewart finally did something on the Pistons side and the people rejoiced. You/we all have no choice but to just stick with it. He'll come around.
Devin Booker left with a tight hammy though it didn't seem all that bad so hopefully we're talking days and not weeks. Cam Johnson would be a great fill-in option if we get word early that Booker is going to miss a few.
CP3 is going to have some bananas numbers while Book is out, too.
And Mikal Bridges decided to just go all Matisse Thybulle. Bridges is really, really good and it's hard to see that in just the box.
The Suns did a nice job of containing Steph, though that stuff always gets overblown. I'm sure he'd smash 'em in a rematch. Regardless, Jordan Poole and Otto Porter Jr did the damage and Poole remains a great SELL guy if you can pull it off. But you probably can't.
People are wise to Klay's return, so probably just roll with Poole and see how it all plays out.
And then on Otto Porter, the Dubs were without Iguodala and Lee so he played 30 mins and if his body doesn't snap in half it's a win.
I guess what I mean is... I've long-adored Otto's fantasy game, but add at your peril because we know his back, hip, legs and feet can't take those mins for more than 3-4 games in a row.

I have way more to type here than Twitter can fit so please do listen to the pod tomorrow, but the quick version is that Cole Anthony makes Orlando quite a bit better.
Various injuries and just the general hot and cold spells of the season have moved Franz Wagner back into a startable position of late, though we also know a cooldown drops him back into that 160 range. Feel free to stream while he's hot if you can catch the right wave.
Bamba returns! But we weren't worried there, really. The bigger news is Jalen Suggs broke a thumb and that changes things here with Cole Anthony still out.
Oh, the universe says I'm supposed to tag these threads with #FantasyBasketball so we'll just do that here and see how it goes.
Look at big JaVale. Hah! I have a soft spot for him, and honestly he hasn't been that bad lately. He's a dynamite fill-in if Ayton misses time again down the road. In the interim, he's more of a 14 or 16 teamer. Still fun, though.
Kevin Love is very much in the streamer discussion but not a games cap level guy. Jarrett Allen's FG% is robust. But overall, no particularly earth-shattering fantasy valuation changes.
LMA played great again and he's absolutely a must-start guy in games cap formats. Harder to deal with on the rest days in h2h but he's been so good lately he probably hangs on even there. Mills is a nice stream with Harris out.
Markkanen and Allen came back from various illnesses and looked great. Fire 'em up! Kevin Love is somehow hanging onto deep league value but his little baby-sized window to play more is gone. As is Ed Davis. Isaac Okoro needs to show me more consistency before I add there.
