Who's worried that #SMR and #ASMB might dilute the value of #IOTA? I'm certainly not and here's why. Time for another π§΅π
I believe #SMR and #ASMB provide a lot of additional utility to #IOTA. There's a lot of synergies to the tokens and together they're much stronger. Let's take a closer look at IOTAs utility:
1. IOTA must be held on firefly to receive the #SMR and #ASMB tokens. I anticipate these two airdroped tokens will become very valuable in the future. VCs have committed over $100m for just 10% of #ASMBs supply and it's likely Huobi will list these with other exchanges to follow
Also worth noting that the airdrop is over 5 years, so this isn't a flash in the pan form of utility.
2. #Shimmer now provides the incentivised staging network for #IOTA, this ensures upgrades are battle tested on an incentivised network. This not only covers #Assembly but also coordicide and other future upgrades
3. #IOTA will be the base layer of #Assembly, it will require a large number of transactions to provide security (similar to DOT), scalability and the feeless transfers of assets and data. Sounds dope right? 
4. With the increased use of #IOTA layer and the introduction of mana, users will be required to hold sufficient IOTA to generate mana needed for transactions and dust protection.
5. #IOTA will be a dominant asset within the IOTA #DeFi ecosystem on both #Shimmer and #Assembly networks. But hey, what does this mean? π
Well if we take a look at ETH used in #DeFi we can see around 9.5m ETH or just under $40billion of ETH is looked in #DeFi. If #IOTA is used in a similar fashion we could see 10+% of IOTA locked up.
6. the tokenomics for #ASMB includes 20% for the IF and 50% for ecosystem funding which will indirectly benefit #IOTA greatly and help secure IF's long term security. Let's not forget how much IF has achieved with such little funding, we're about to see a giant emerge now!
What does all this utility mean? Well more utility gives additional use cases to hold, stake and lock your IOTA to fully utilise all the networks. This means less supply and more demand for IOTA.
And on that point, have you moved your IOTA to a firefly wallet yet? You might not have the opportunity once the IF announces the start of staking.
I appreciate it's easy to lose sight of #IOTA and synergies #ASMB and #SMR brings when we're all so hyped for the new networks, but #IOTA is still king here.
