Bismillah. Community update: a second IPT "spy" has voluntarily come forward, confessed and agreed to cooperate with us. He was not part of CAIR. He was an active volunteer in a large mosque who was invited to national community meetings & events. Details in the thread... 1/8
The individual has informed us that Steven Emerson paid him $3K per month to record prominent Muslim leaders; over $100K over 4 years. One of Emerson's goals, we're told, was protecting the Israeli govt by undermining Muslims engaged in political & human rights activism. 2/8
We are gathering and vetting additional information from this individual. We have also been directly alerting Muslim leaders and organizations he targeted. We will publicly release his name and additional information after we finish this process, God willing. 3/8
We also want to note that this person went to his masjid leaders before being confronted, confessed, sought forgiveness and agreed to cooperate. This is what anyone who helped IPT or other hate groups should do. Come forward now. Don't wait to be exposed. Do the right thing. 4/8
And ICYMI, here is some of the information we released last week about IPT. First, Emerson's abuse of his staff is part of the reason his people have turned on him. In one email, he literally used the subject line "to all of those f**king idiots who work for me." 5/8 
Second, Emerson worked with Israeli intel officials, such as Yossi Kuperwasser and Ido Mizrahi from the office of then-PM Netanyahu. In one of these messages, Mizrahi asks IPT for information about Students for Justice in Palestine, an American college student group. 6/8
Third, here are just a few of the email interactions related to #RominIqbal and #SteveEmerson (email addresses and phone numbers redacted). Important to Iqbal and Emerson have not denied any of the allegations against them since this went public. 7/8

To be clear, this second mole was not connected to, communicating with, or otherwise targeting CAIR. He's a completely separate, external mole. IPT was using him to monitor other Muslim orgs/leaders while using #RominIqbal against us. More info to come as soon as possible iA. 9/9
