1/ I never post about any other cryptos beside #BTC as most of it is complete vaporware.

Today I make an exception, as I am getting more bullish on crypto gaming.

Especially a still mostly unkown project called @DefiKingdoms is well positioned to thrive in 2022.

2/ First of all, keep in mind that investing in projects like @DefiKingdoms bares a much higher risk than #Bitcoin.

I would not reccomend selling your BTC for any other crypto project.

And as always do your own research, dont follow anyone bllindly. This is not financial advice

3/ Online Gaming was a niche years ago, but no more. The sector will keep growing, especially as the world is facing new lockdowns, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out how people might spend their time at home.

4/ Facebook re-launching as Meta is brining all the attention in the world to the whole ecosystem.

While I prefer the real world, the metaverse will be huge, no doubt about that. (hopefully not the Facebook version though)
Lockdowns will only increase the awareness.

5/ Even Adidas found its way in the digital world. They are all coming, yet we are still in the early innings of this trend.

I would argue we are sometime between 1996-1999 when you compare it to the internet.

6/ Aside from the metaverse, "Play-to-Earn" could become a megatrend. The ability or even the opportunity of making money while being entertained is powerful.
As a former poker player I can relate to that better than most.
Especially during times like these.

8/ ▶️ What is DefiKingdom?

-> DeFi Kingdom is so much more than only a game.

9/ The whole game is built around the biggest decentralized exchange on @harmonyprotocol.
Everyone who wants to use it, actually needs to enter the game and is exposed to it.
On top of that, the team came up with an elegant way to combine a DEX, nfts and a play to earn game.

10/Thats why I am so bullish on @DefiKingdoms , they managed to find a way to combine interessting aspects of DeFi with a game that is fun to play and actually increases the earning you get out of it.

Brilliant idea.

11/ The current state of NFTs is in my opinion best described by the term "hyerbubble". I dont own any and dont intend to.

But the NFTs within @DefiKingdoms are different, they actually have utility as long as people use the exchange and play the game. Thats unique about them.

12/ ▶️Team

The Team is constantly growing and is so far executing on a high level.

Keep in mind, the project was launched around 4 month ago and is already more advanced than most dino projects.

The interaction between community and team is also unseen and outstanding.

13/ ▶️ Funding

Another special thing about DFK: not a single VC invested in them, its a grasroot project and nobody is gonna dump on you later.

Would love to see more transparency in the future though, how those funds are used and spend on @FriskyFoxDK

14/ Nevertheless as the price of #jewel increased, their war chest is growing bigger and bigger.

Additionally there is a huge incentive for @harmonyprotocol to push and support DFK as its the biggest project on their chain by far.

15/ ▶️Tokenomics for #jewel are on point. A play to earn game is somewhat of a ponzi by nature 😆, still there a hughe incentives built into the game to actually buy, hold and stake the token.

16/ ▶️ Roadmap

The roadmap for the coming year is just hyper bullish. Basically there will be new game elements realeased every week, so a constant flow of updates, hype and news.

The biggest one is surely their exanison to @avalancheavax.

17/ ▶️ Avax Expension

TBH not convinced @harmonyprotocol will be around in the long run. The same can be said about @avalancheavax, nevertheless their ecosystem is way bigger and will bring a huge amount of new players.

Imo its very important not to rely solely on Harmony.

18/ It will be in the own interest of @avalancheavax to support @DefiKingdoms in the best possible way. DFK might also become the biggest DEX on AVAX (currently @traderjoe_xyz) and the most used app.

Avax might need DFK more than the other way around.

19/ ▶️ Valuation

DefiKingdom is challening @AxieInfinity in volume and soon in users.
Still its sitting on around 1/8 of the marketcap of Axie.

Given that in my oppinion DFK is superior to Axie, it will most likely overtake @AxieInfinity in 2022.

20/ Keep in mind that at the high of the hype around @AxieInfinity it was valued amongst the biggest video game companies in the world.

@DefiKingdoms might get there as well.

21/ Having said that, #Jewel is up more than 100% over the past week, so definitely have a game plan ready when buying into it.
Everything below 10$ is a good entry point, so keep some dry powder for later and DCA in slowly.

22/ The last aspect about the valuation: it is still mostly under the radar! It is not listed on any exchange, it is not listed under the gaming section on coinmarketcap and coingecko, so most people still have not heart about it.

If you read this, you are still early.

23/ Coverage is picking up though.

24/ ▶️ Pros and Cons

Pros:
- Great Team
- Great Tokenomics
- Exiciting Roadmap
- Still under the radar
- Great gamedynamcis
- biggest application on harmony and potentially on AVAX in the future
- seemingly nobody talking about it on Crypto Twitter

25/ Cons:

- the usuall crypto + smart contract risks
- huge runup within past 7 days
- still a very early stage project
- macro: currently we are in a risk off environment and we might be in for a major dip acroos the board soon. If that happens, #jewel will drop at least 50%

26/ Summary

As far as my peanut brain can tell, the team has come up with a pretty great system.
Still its very early days for @DefiKingdoms , so invest only what you are willing to loose.

From todays perspective, its one of the most exciting projects for 2022.

@DefiKingdoms 27/ But keep in mind that we are in a very challenging macro environment, expect a lot of volatility and potentially huge drawdowns.

Additionally a lot crypto games will pop up over the next year and the whole space is in its infancy. Most of todays projects will fade over time.
