Security breach in Punjab cannot be just assigned to the Cop who leaked movements to the 'farmers'.

This is Congress written all over it. How many suspicious deaths and assassinations under their watch.

To those who cry intelligence/ @HMOIndia failure, here are some thoughts:
1. When you blame @AmitShah , are you suggesting that he sat on an intelligence?

Does the SPG not rely on the state police and protection protocols when PM visits states?

Instead, should they tap every phone in the country or of all cops in states PM is visiting?
2. Where in the world is such an intelligence mechanism where every DGP's phone is tapped in the country?

If such a thing were to be part of our security framework, are you willing to defend it?

Especially given our leftist international press?
3. How many of you stood with Amit Shah when the snoopgate happened in Gujarat when he was HM?

Why do you think he was acquitted? What do you think that means to the way Home Ministries work?

4. To those who are crying for 'action' in 24 hours, what makes you think that
the HM of the country has less concern about the security of his PM under his watch?

Especially for someone who has stuck together with his leader through all the ordeals since the '90s?

5. Why do you insist that all 'action' must be taken in full public view?
6. HM has already warned that he will make them accountable for what has happened. Give him time. We are all spectators in this, HM is the doer.

For a govt that kept the country riot-free with not a single incident of bombing the past 7 years, should you not allow SOPs?
7. For the first time since Modi has come power, I see the whole nation united behind him.

Let's not lose focus on the culprits this time.

Congress must answer, and let's demand an apology from their leaders.

Where is Rahul Gandhi? Any connection with his trips abroad?
8. I doubt if those that demand HM to resign take any cognisance of how HM works post every incident.

For example, I saw none of them tweeting about the arrest of Jaswinder Multani in Germany.

Do they think that happened without all the efforts from the Home Ministry?
I saw no elation on the number or arrests post anti-CAA protests either.

Pathancot, Bengal, farmers, Jan 27, Anit-CAA. But no study on any of these events and tracking of the GOI actions in each.

Just check how many BJP karykartas died after June last year. It's a good start.
9. Also, there is need to differentiate a system flaw from the inability of an incumbent minister/team.

Why some actions possible, some not?

If this is a system issue, then let's have a dialogue on what exactly must change and how it will stand a BJP as well as non-BJP rule.
Every time you train your guns at HM or PM, you are letting the real culprits get away and the system to remain as such.

PM's security breach was dramatic.

Actions taken from now on may or may not be that dramatic.

It will be good for the vigilante to follow HM actions.
Otherwise, you will tweet saying 'HM must resign' and get about your day. You will not even bother reading or researching more about what happens after today.

It's the Home Ministry that works each day every day on every issue that we know of and that we do not know of.
Spectators can cheer or taunt. Performers will continue to do their duty as if in penance.

It's our fault if we do not differentiate honest people in power from those who ate the country like termites.

2009 would have been different if you were half as vigilant as this.

PM security breach in Punjab – why did this happen?

My analysis.

First, I don’t think this was an assassination plot. If it were, some attempt would have been made. There is no motive to assassinate @narendramodi just before the state elections.

I think this is caused by
Modi’s surprise act of repealing Farm Laws.

We know this is signature Congress move. They are desperate too.

Punjab is their last standing bastion. With elections round the corner, its position is very weak.

On one side they don’t know the impact of Captain’s departure
and the rifts in the remaining faction with and without Sidhu factor.

On the other, there is an undercurrent of anti-incumbency with many protests surfacing over the past few months.

Farmers are not as united behind the protest as the Congress and AAP would have hoped.

Notes on Democracy Part 3

Is communism a failed political party?

This thread is part of a series exposing contemporary and historic communism which will prove this notion wrong. It will even make you rethink Indian polity.

Here is a pre-read:

Communism may have lost power in liberal democracies, but it will be a gross mistake to write it off as communism is an organised religion which has a huge hidden body and numerous heads.

Since 1989, they have been busy underground trying new warfare on world order.
If you understand how communism works, you will see how contemporary issues in the world are created, solved and kept in a state of chaos.

Pathrika e-paper @pathrika publishes a series in Malayalam that I attempted in 2016 on "Know Your Communism".

Why did @narendramodi not pursue the plastic Gandhis post 2014 win?

I have seen Twitter splitting on this every time a statement comes from the family or any of the others in the opposition including Mamta, OYC.

Here is why they should be left on a long leash.
To understand why Modi Ji said before the win that he will not chase them, you should pay some attention to how our democracy works.

I have said in the past that democracy is inherently flawed, and political system with it's ideological war is dangerous.
In this flawed democratic political system, for a party to survive and grow, it needs what's called an 'enemy'. In politics, this is called 'Opposition'.

Gaining strength against a common enemy is a communist tactic.

BJP is no exception. For it to grow, there must be a villain.

The tale of Two Prime Ministers, a blast and a rebuild.

Bhagavān Sreerāmakrishna Paramahamsa revealed to the world how death in Kāshi gave Mukthi.

He describes seeing Lord Shiva sitting by the head of the corpse on the pyre and chanting Tāraka Mantra (Rāma) in its ear.
Sitting at the foot of the corpse, Dēvi Pārvati removes each of the five mantles of Māya (Kala, Kāla, Rāga, Niyati, Avidya) from the Jīva.

With the Tāraka Mantra infused and the veils of Māya removed, the Jīva lives and dies many times in a split second and attains Mōksha.
This is how sacred and important the Mahāshmashāna - the burning ghats of Kāshi are.

Now the tale of the first PM.

In 1986, Rajiv Gandhi ordered to replace these pyre grounds with electric crematorium under GAP. Clean Ganga was NOT the only reason as you know.

Quick views on today's political situation

1. Looks like the puppet masters are losing hope in INC as it is today, and they are willing to load up TMC instead.

The sudden money rush to buy manpower in disparate states cannot be explained otherwise.
2. Also shows the masters are not hopeful of AAP

3. RaGa and PriGa are loaded and reloaded and they have failed spectacularly.

Evidence - exit of close ties of RaGa from INC to join TMC and Aditi's entry into BJP - looks like check for PriGa.
4. Distinct absence of 'Third Front' narrative and a united Modi Hate Band despite five state elections - no mahaghatbandhan talks -

instead focusing on backroom orchestrations through Prashant Kishore Pandey.

Repealing Farmers Laws

Had a few questions paused to me. As one of the very first on SM to welcome Farmers’ Laws, I am happy to express my take on the repeal.

1. This is a temporary change in the course of this reform. @narendramodi Ji has studied issues for over 20 years.
2. What is so shocking about this repeal? In January this year, GOI agreed to suspend these laws for 18 months until a workable solution is found.

The protestors did not agree. GOI met with the protestors very many times, agreed to change/amend and even revise the terms on MSP.
The protestors did not agree to any proposal from the Govt.

The protestors did not even participate in Supreme Court’s proposal of the panel.

After exhausting all options, Govt decided to repeal. What is there to feel emotional about this?
