This game is exactly like Clash of Clans in gameplay. CoC is already loved by millions and has established gaming groups that make money and careers off of CoC.

#HeroesofMavia will only have 7000 plots of land. 4,000 have been given to strategic investors. 2,000 are going to be available to those that earn a WL spot. 1,000 will be given to OpenSea to fight over.

Only so many people will be able to play on an owner's land...

If only one player can utilize a land, then we are talking about only 7k players. However, Mavia will allow other players to rent/partner with the owner of the Land NFts.

Why would a Land Owner want to let a renter/partner use there land?

A renter is given time to utilize a copy of the owner's land NFT. The owner will earn the governance token $MAVIA in exchange for the renter being able to play and earn $RUBY, in in-game currency.

Renting is not the only option... a player could also partner with an owner.

A partner is able to utilize the Land when the owner is not playing the game. Instead of $MAVIA, the owner will profit-share the $RUBY earned by the player, according to the customizable agreement they settled on...

This has huge implications

Landowners will be able to profit both passively and actively. The players are subject to the landowners desires based on marketplace sentiment, but more upgraded the base, the more costly the base will be.
