To move assets across different #networks, we would a bridge!

Bridging can be confusing and costly. But don't let that stop you from exploring beyond your comfort zone.

Here are some ways I've found to bridge assets across any #blockchain!

$LUNA $ETH $FTM $NEAR $ONE $ROSE $SOL

For most, using CEXs such as @binance, @FTX_Official, @kucoincom, @gate_io, etc is often most convenient way to their bridge assets.

They allow asset transfers between multiple chains, while giving users the freedom to trade tokens with a small platform fee.

However, CEXs operate under regulatory supervision and are prone to centralized attacks which may result in the loss of assets.

So now let's talk about bridges and how you can move your assets cross chain safely!

For some context, all EVM chains are compatible with
@MetaMask. This includes $ETH, $AURORA, $AVAX, $BSC, $FTM, $MATIC, $ONE.

While Non-EVM compatible chains include $ADA $ATOM, $BTC, $DOT, $LUNA, $SOL.

These cannot be used with @MetaMask, and you would need separate wallets.

How to bridge between EVM chains?

@SynapseProtocol is one of the most popular bridges for transferring assets across:
$ETH, $AURORA, $AVAX, $BSC, $BOBA, $FTM, $MATIC, $MOVR, $ONE, #Arbitrum, #Optimism

Transactions on Synapse are fast and cheap (0.1% fees).

Here is a short guide on @SynapseProtocol:

1. Go to synapseprotocol.com.

2. Connect your MetaMask wallet.

3. Select an asset, source chain and destination chain.

4. Approve the transaction.

5. You're done!

Your assets will be transferred within a few minutes.

How to bridge between Non-EVM and EVM chains?

@Allbridge_io allows you to bridge $BTC, $LUNA, $SOL to EVM chains.

Transaction fees are 0.3% + gas but fees can be reduced by holding $ABR.

How to bridge between $NEAR?

You can use Rainbow Bridge @auroraisnear to bridge between $ETH, $NEAR and $AURORA.

or

You can bridge from another chain to Aurora via @SynapseProtocol or @Allbridge_io, and Rainbow Bridge to $NEAR

How to bridge between Terra $LUNA?

You can bridge $ETH, $BSC and $ONE via bridge.terra.money @terra_money

Terra bridge fees cost 0.1% or $1, whichever is greater.

For comparison, $ETH gas fees can cost up to $100 during peak hour transactions.

Want to bridge $USDC from Polygon $MATIC to Terra $LUNA?

1. Bridge $USDC from $MATIC to $ONE via @SynapseProtocol (1 USDC fee)

2. Swap your $USDC to $UST on @SushiSwap

3. Bridge $UST from $ONE to Terra $LUNA via bridge.terra.money (1 UST fee)

How to bridge between Cosmos $ATOM?

1. Use the above methods to bridge your assets to Terra.

2. Bridge $UST from Terra to Osmosis via bridge.terra.money

3. Swap $UST for $ATOM

4. Withdraw $ATOM from @osmosiszone

You can use @evolution_bsc (0.5% fee) to bridge between EVM chains, $BTC, $LUNA and $SOL

bridge.evodefi.com also allows you to transfer both $USDC and $USDT.

Do note that EvoDefi only allows bridging to $BTC and $SOL, and not the other way around.

Or @wormholecrypto to bridge across $AVAX, $BSC, $ETH, $LUNA, $MATIC, $ROSE, and $SOL.

There are no bridging fees on wormholebridge.com/#/transfer.

You do however still need to pay for gas.

These are just some of the many methods for bridging your assets cross chains.

Bridging can be terrifying for new users, but it doesn't have to be.

Always remember to double check before sending your assets out, because once it's gone, it's lost forever!
