Electricity:
UP never had power in the evening. Availability was between 12-5AM & 12-5PM. Nothing worked except fan and the light bulb because the voltage was so low. However, beginning in 2017, electricity was made available for 18–20 hours per day, primarily in the evening.
Education:
The state of Uttar Pradesh has implemented a biometric attendance system in schools for teachers. As a result, every teacher has returned to school. Govt has now decided to implement biometric attendance for students as well.
Basic facilities were provided in nearly 1.35 lakh schools across UP as part of 'Operation Kayakalp.' Free books, school bags, 2 pairs of uniforms, sweaters and shoes-stockings were distributed to the children. Aside from that, separate toilets for boys and girls have been built.
There are now 193 new inter-colleges in operation, and 56 new inter-colleges have been sanctioned.
30 girls hostels were also established to improve the education of female students.
UP is the only state in the country that provides free #Abhyuday coaching to students.
The creation of 5,987 new teacher positions and honorarium-based postings on vacant positions from a pool of retired teachers has altered the landscape of secondary education in the state. Students in the state's rural areas no longer have to travel far to pursue higher education
The state is establishing 51 new government colleges and is in the process of recognizing 28 new private universities.

Riots:
According to the statistics, other than anti-CAA riots, UP is currently free of riots. We haven't heard of any riots since Yogi's govt took over. Previously, we would hear about these about once a week.
