The stubborn decision by some school districts in Missouri to continue the forced masking of kids based on politics and not science is negatively affecting kids’ health.

The mandates need to end. #NoMaskMandates theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…
"A study from Brown University, analyzing 2020–21 data from schools in New York, Massachusetts, and Florida, found no correlation between student cases and mask mandates..."
"In Tennessee, two neighboring counties with similar vaccination rates, Davidson and Williamson, have virtually overlapping case-rate trends in their school-age populations, despite one having a mask mandate and one having a mask opt-out rate of about 23 percent."
"Another recent analysis of data from Cass County, North Dakota, comparing school districts with and without mask mandates, concluded that mask-optional districts had lower prevalence of COVID-19 cases among students this fall."
"Analyses of COVID-19 cases in Alachua County, Florida, also suggest no differences in mask-required versus mask-optional schools."
"Similarly, the U.K. recently reported finding no statistically significant difference in absences traced to COVID-19 between secondary schools with mask mandates and those without mandates."
"Recent prospective studies from Greece and Italy found evidence that masking is a barrier to speech recognition, hearing, and communication, and that masks impede children’s ability to decode facial expressions, dampening children’s perceived trustworthiness of faces."
"Masks may impede emotion recognition, even in adults, but particularly in children. This fall, when children were asked, many said that prolonged mask wearing is uncomfortable and that they dislike it."
"The foundation of medical and public-health interventions should be that they work, not that we have insufficient evidence to say whether they are harmful."

Forced masking of kids is ineffective but the evidence of psychological harm is mounting.

DHSS COVID-19 data in Missouri’s school districts in the new year show that non-masked districts fared the same or better than masked districts. #NoMaskMandates
For example, Ritenour (unmasked) had 2.4% of its student body test positive for COVID, while St. Charles (masked) had 3.12% of its student body test positive.
Parkway (masked) had 4% of its student body test positive for COVID, while Wentzville (unmasked) had 2.6% of its student body test positive.

The effort to indoctrinate our kids through the divisive lens of #CriticalRaceTheory is happening in the heartland. Springfield Public Schools has been caught red handed & now are refusing to provide documents we’ve requested.

Today—on behalf of parents I filed suit. #CRT

A 🧵
According to our lawsuit, in one training, Springfield Public Schools' teachers were instructed to consult an "oppression matrix" and determine where they fall on that matrix. #CRT

See for yourself:
Additionally, at other trainings, Springfield Public Schools' teachers were presented with two images that classify “education funding from property tax" as "covert white supremacy," among other examples. #CRT

Campaigning to criminally prosecute political opponents with no evidence of wrongdoing is about as reckless as it gets

What’s happening to President #Trump is an affront to justice & must be called out for what it is: cataclysmically dangerous

-A THREAD

redstate.com/redstate-guest…
Leftists in the US are increasingly weaponizing investigations to persecute & prosecute their opponents for politics and policy differences. It’s conduct found in a banana republic where the authoritarian state punishes its political enemies with prosecutions in search of crimes.
It’s antithetical to America’s founding which rejected the idea and practice of those in power punishing political opponents for vague and ambiguous “crimes against the state.”  Instead, the Founders chose to create a country of laws, not of men.

Rather than using the slimmest majority in modern history to enact bills that would fix problems in our election system, Democrats seem maniacally focused on making sure they maintain power.

#HR1 is a straight up power grab. #electionintegrity washingtontimes.com/news/2021/may/…
Many solutions that until recently had bipartisan support as set forth by the Carter-Baker Commission have been set aflame by the Democrats drunk with power and beholden to the radical left.
#HR1 would codify many of the very problems America experienced in 2020 & leaves the door wide open to election fraud. Instead of bringing America together, this bill would pull us further apart as elections would become more politicized, as Dems use #SB1 to secure lasting power.

From requiring a mask outdoors, to subjecting citizens to gov’t pre-approval for a BBQ, to restricting the free exercise of religion — enough is enough

The unending control over people’s lives must end — that’s why I filed suit against St. Louis Co today
3 weeks ago I sent a letter to St Louis Co expressing deep concern about the ongoing Stay-At-Hone-Order & asked for evidence for their extreme restrictions. Not only did they ignore our request for justification, they pulled a bait and switch & issued a new amended order
After review of the amended order it become clear, given the number of typos & blatant inconsistencies that this was rushed out the door in an attempt to appease our office and avoid litigation.

It did not. #COVIDー19

The PA Sup Ct decision-allowing ballots after the election without even postmark overstepped its constitutional authority, encroached on PA leg authority & violated the Election Clauses. Therefore, we are seeking #SCOTUS review & reversal of the PA Sup Ct. wsj.com/livecoverage/t…
The PA leg decided to allow mail in voting ONLY if ballots were received by Election Day. The PA Ct rewrote the law to allow ballots to be counted days AFTER the election & not even postmarked. We’re asking #SCOTUS to take the case & reverse. Legislatures set rules for elections
Further, the PA Supreme Court supercharged concern of mail in ballot fraud by allowing mail in ballots to be received several days after Election Day without a postmark. Americans deserve to have faith in their elections. Big important principals are at stake here.
