Adv Anuj Bhandari: this is very pressing & serious has happened..the movie why I killed Gandhi has been released yesterday my lords. Gandhi has been called "Napunsak". Joke is being made on Gandhi & the entire courtroom has been shown laughing on Gandhi.

SC: But how is an application under Art 32 of Constitution maintainable?

Bhandari: the movie makers are tarnishing image of father of nation. feelings are hurt of the petitioner and nation

Adv: it is all over India.. the release is nationwide. any one high court not be able to deal with this
Anuj Bhandari: My rights Art 19(1)(a) is being violated.

SC: But even Art 19(1)(a) has some restrictions.

Adv: even my right under Article 21 is also being violated. My children will watch the movie..it is also right to life
SC: A writ petition under Art 32 may only be filed when there is question of violation of Fundamental Right. there is no Fundamental Right of the petitioner appears to have been violated.
SC: However it appears that the petitioner is a citizen may have a serious cause of concern here. Petitioner is at liberty to approach the High court under Article 226. Thus this plea cannot be entertained

#SupremeCourt to hear plea by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Nandigram election agent, SK Supiyan seeking anticipatory bail in a murder case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)
Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal: Let me just briefly tell you.. this incidents took place on May 3, 2021, and FIR was filed.

Complaint that was filed does not name me. The local police commenced the investigation. It was taken over by the CBI on 30 Aug 2021.

Thats when the CBI had taken over. Ln the 6th Suvendu Adhikari makes a statement that these people will be arrested- he refers to me also.

The Kerala High Court will soon be hearing the anticipatory bail plea moved by Malayalam Actor Dileep and others in a case of alleged conspiracy to kill the police officers investigating the 2017 actress assault case against him.

Previously, the Court had granted Dileep and four others interim anticipatory bail and directed them to appear for interrogation for 33 hours over 3 days.

SEBI impounds bank accounts of Admins of WhatsApp and TeleGram accounts. Some groups had nearly 50k users
