5. It would seem that Pierre Poilievre continues to double down on his support of this protest that has so burdensome to the citizens and small business owners of Ottawa.
14. Tyler Russell and his Canada First hate groups, as well as Plaid Army/Diagolon, seem to be trying to stoke the fire from Ottawa where many have been participating in that event.
21. Vriend discussed the Coutts border situation in a stream discussing what he suggests is the inevitability of violence (though another tries to split hairs in claiming that "they" have been subject to state violence so self-defence isn't violence).
22. I know I run the risk of Vriend having an orgasm about the fact I'm writing about him and including this clip, but I would suggest he isn't entirely wrong that this could blow up if not handled correctly.
I'll even post it all that exchange for context purposes.
31. Yep. You got me! I'm an engaged citizen who makes a small monthly donation to a political party. What a scandal!
I also contribute monthly to a number of human rights organizations (including @antihateca) and I sponsor 5 children with @PlanCanada.
Lock me up!
32. And yes, I did and do condemn Don Cherry, though not for asking people to wear a poppy of course, but for suggesting new Canadians aren't (which isn't true) and questioning their status as Canadians because of this claim.
33. Really? That's the best you can do?
Weak
34. You know who aren't week?
These awesome humans!
I'm sure that they will be accused of being "antifa" soon.
38. Kevin Johnston complaining about bail restrictions when he should be serving his 18 months while also seemingly violating those same bail restrictions in talking to people attending the Ottawa protest.
56. He brags about what the convoy is doing to people in the city. I did remove most of the video to preserve the victims identity, but I did include a later audio file of Vriend justifying the harassment with the added hope the victim kills himself.
3. Today is the day that supporters of the events in Ottawa and at the Coutts border claim they will be blocking "all major thoroughfares" in Alberta. Time will tell if that will occur.
2. Unlike Pat King, I have to go to work so I won't be back to this until much later tonight, however based on the web cam screen shot of Parliament Hill from 9:36 est, it looks like a lot of others might have gone home.
3. Not a lot happened after I went to bed (I don't think ), but here are a few things that happened in the early morning.
First, Ed Jamnisek, the charismatic mofo whom I'm surprised doesn't fall asleep from the sound of his own voice, is perplexed
It doesn't show everything and what I can see is a large crowd, but it certainly doesn't look like the 500,000 to 1.4 million the participants claimed would be there (one random person believed there would be 3.5 million, or close to 10% of Canada). 2/
So far people on the ground have noted Diagalon and Canada First flags and at least one person in a Soldiers of Odin vest.
We also see a Canada First supporter dressed for a "peaceful" demonstration. 3/
