+ the live, but figured that I couldn’t rly focus, so I told them I’d work on it after the live and share it with them the next day! I thought it would be simple, but since it had string instruments so I stayed up until 7am…I ate luosifen for a late night snack in between haha

They continued talking about the plot and Kun commented on how the main characters don’t seem to have effortless compatibility so if they did end up together they’d face a lot of challenges

Zhuama was talking about the breakup scene - the 2 main characters usually share a bowl of ramen, so the girl ate half and left the other for the guy and went to the subway station and didn’t go back for him

👩🏻: a lot of people might be surprised why xiaoxiao (female lead) rejected jianqing (male lead) even after he succeeded, but throughout the film you’ll notice how he never once tried to understand what she wanted
🐻: ahh so he thought she just wanted material things/success

Kun and Zhuama talked about how a special thing about this film is that parts of it are in black & white symbolizing “what my life is without you” mirroring how it’s portrayed in jianqiang’s game (t/n: he’s a game designer and his game was inspired by xiaoxiao female lead)

The movie goes back to the present 10 years later where color has returned to their world because they’ve moved on, have families, etc.
Zhuama said this movie was made to capture the romantic situations of everyone bc at regardless, there will be a scene you can relate with
