Minnesota HF352 added Bob Dettmer as a sponsor. This is an anti-trans sports bill that would exclude trans girls from playing school athletics by saying athletics be divided by "biological sex" determined by a doctor's examination. This places an undue cost on girls' athletics.
Minnesota HF1657 added Bob Dettmer as a sponsor. This is another anti-trans sports bill that defines "biological sex" to be determined by chromosomes. It also requires that all communal changing rooms, restrooms, etc be divided based on "biological sex".
New Hampshire HF1180 has a hearing planned for 2/22 at 9:30 am EST. This bill would mandate that amended birth certificates do not apply to athletics, prisons or "places of intimate privacy". This is essentially an anti-trans sports bill and bathroom bill in one.
Indiana HB1041 passed committee and will move onto the Senate floor. This is an anti-trans sports bill that would mandate school athletics be divided based on "biological sex". How "biological sex" is to be determined is unclear.
