No, there is a conflict of interest between business interests and health. Pharma cannot make money off of healthy people.

What about cures on which there is no big money to be made? Changing diet, for example, or indigenous medicine. When there are trillions of $s for pharma to attack these as "quackery." The validation system is itself out of reach for low-cost cures.
