Nursing Homes funded by @MedicareGov NY Medicaid, VA and Private funds. How can Governor defy Adult Protective Services concepts: “Grant Immunity” from Liabilities?? Does not compute to me. Owners, Administrators, Staff Nurses all off the hook? Families should sue & test this.
The Primary Reason to Review the events leading to 15,000 deaths of vulnerable People in institutionalized settings is to Never let it happen again. Make a plan if it were to happen again. I believe a tip line for staff who had to care for these people might open your eyes.p
Families and Legal Representatives were bypassed, restricted from visiting and thereby observing care and advocating for their Loved One. They too have a story. By not letting them testify, You protect Your Office, not Your Constituents. Fin
