Firstly the infamous article. We think this doesn't go into Preston's ties to Blackburn because IWRC, they hadn't been proven yet. (We think @anitawadhwani, one of our faves now writing for @TNLookout, would have asked had she had access to the docs.)

Around this same time we ourselves were taking a look at Kline Preston's website via Archive.org. And found info indicating he was still calling himself Blackburn's org chair as late as 2014.

There's more, of course. Many people seem to have become interested in the photos of Kline Preston and Alexander Torshin - former deputy head of Russia's Central Bank (sanctioned this morning by @USTreasury)

Torshin is also tied to various Russian mobsters as well as Russian intelligence - taking a look at Tennessee voting machines within walking distance of Blackburn's house.

Blackburn won't say whether she ever met Torshin, but here are photos showing both of them at the Vanderbilt Lowes hotel at the 2012 @TNGOP victory party. Torshin again escorted by Preston, Blackburn's *campaign head.* Not fundraising chair - the head of the entire operation.

(Of course Blackburn met with Torshin, probably repeatedly. We were all born at night, but not last night.)

Anyway, there's more to this. Torshin was the handler of Maria Butina, convicted and deported from the US for spying. Preston knew her, too.

Maybe because he was doing business in both Russia and Ukraine in the early 90s.

All of them came to Nashville for the @NRA convention back in 2015, where more conspiracy to do with the 2016 election likely took place. Blackburn was intimately involved.

@NRA made Blackburn's Senate race one of its top priorities in 2018. There was plenty of shady business there - including a dark money PAC that gave Blackburn $1 million, then disbanded.
