Our school district in VA went masks-optional today. Of the 44 students I saw when dropping off my son to his middle school, 100% of the 44 were wearing masks. My son told me he will continue masking to protect disabled kids. It’s sad middle schoolers get it as adults shriek.
This is one instance where I hope peer pressure is a thing.

I must comment that I find it hilarious all these RW trolls have been screaming FREEDOM for 2 and I describe a situation where kids HAVE A CHOICE and are CHOOSING to mask. So should we force kids who want to mask not to? What happened to FREEDOM?
This wasn’t a tweet about mandating or forcing masks. This tweet said, despite the mask optional change, 100% of the kids I saw going into the building were still wearing masks. Yet all the fake FREEDOM folks are vomiting their bile all over the thread? I’m confused.
I’ve blocked at least 100 right wing choads trolling this tweet, which is about kids who now have the “freedom” to unmask and chose not to. They can’t handle that kids don’t care at all.
