#LongCovid is our nation's biggest mass disabling event in history

Wartime included

1 in 3 infections lead to Long COVID.

How many people do you know who's had COVID - even asymptomatic?

Now do the math

1/

Next Question with Katie Couric @iHeartRadio iheart.com/podcast/302-ka…
People are suffering.

Some are going into year three of:

- neurological impairment
- severe gi issues (feeding tube level)
- parkinsonian like tremors
- neuropathy
- COVID onset diabetes
- Heart damage
- etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

2/
Most are young and previously healthy.

They might have survived COVID but they are being ripped apart physically while being gaslit by their doctors.

And our government.

I just heard from two women with #LongCovid, both in their early 40's, just diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers.

They can't be the only ones.

If COVID leads to neurodegenerative disease... we are totally fcked.

Support Long COVID research NOW. Before it's too late.

“When we're talking about #LongCovid, I want you to think abt our members who are in their early 30s, who were athletes, who were marathon runners, at the height of their career, who are now in wheelchairs; they're on permanent feeding tubes, they are disabled,” Berrent said."

"We need a national, long COVID suicide hotline yesterday," Berrent said. "Mental health is a huge part of this, but I also want to be clear: There are neurological issues going on that need to be treated medically."

Could antihistamines help relieve #LongCovid for some?

This is a small study but it's supported by real world evidence and needs further investigation.

"These cases were even brought to the attention of these researchers, primarily from the University of California, Irvine, through members of Survivor Corps, a long covid advocacy group hosted on Facebook."
@Survivor_Corps @UCIrvineHealth

2/
"But near as they can tell, these are the first case reports in the literature to document the potential of antihistamines for patients with long covid, also known as postacute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2, or PASC."
