People are suffering.

Some are going into year three of:

- neurological impairment
- severe gi issues (feeding tube level)
- parkinsonian like tremors
- neuropathy
- COVID onset diabetes
- Heart damage
- etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Most are young and previously healthy.

They might have survived COVID but they are being ripped apart physically while being gaslit by their doctors.

And our government.

No treatments. No therapeutics. No answers.

No hope.

Listen to the patients in this podcast.

One says: After two years of medical visits and tests a doctor finally acknowledged she had #LongCovid.

The doctor could provide no help.

This has been her only success yet.

The medical establishment has failed them.

Their government has failed them.

They are running out of money. They are running out of hope.

These are our parents, friends and children. No one is immune to #LongCovid.

We need accelerated research with the goal of generating treatments and therapeutics.

This research needs the funding and the urgency that Operation Warp Speed provided for the development of the vaccine.

Ignoring #LongCovid will cripple our economy and break our already fragile health care infrastructure.

But, most importantly, it will generate a level of human suffering that should never be acceptable.

Physical. Financial. Psychologically.

We need a #LongCovidMoonshot

If COVID has been our war Long Haulers are our veterans.

We do NOT leave our comrades on the battlefield.

That is not who we are.

Legislation has been introduced to support Long Haulers.

The CARE Act was introduced to the Senate last week by @timkaine @SenDuckworth and @SenMarkey.

This is NOT political in any way shape or form.

The virus doesn't know the difference.

Call your Congressional Representatives and tell them to support the CARE Act.

Again and again.

Its passage is crucial. We are ALL depending on it.
