The term traditional medicine describes the knowledge, skills & practices indigenous & different cultures have used over time to maintain health and prevent, diagnose & treat physical and mental illness - from acupuncture, ayurvedic medicine, herbal mixtures to modern medicines.

The appeal for US$2.7 billion represents financial requirements for WHO in 2022 to cover all 6 Regions, & country-level emergency response operations, including for #COVID19.
#Tuberculosis - also known as TB - remains one of the worldโs deadliest infectious killers.
Each day, over 4,100 people lose their lives to it & close to 28,000 people fall ill with this preventable & curable disease.
