1/ It's been quite some time since we've published a public update on what we've been up to. Allow us to remedy that! First things first you're likely asking yourselves "WTF is Ape Galaxy?!" I thought this was #GALAXYGOGGLEDAO $GG??? What happen to $APE_X? What about Death Ape?!

2/ After migrating from #AVAX to #BSC, we under went a lot of changes... most of which occurred out of the view of the public within Ape Base Alpha aka our Discord. The "APY War" days had left $GG with a pretty sizable war chest ($9-10M~), but no real purpose or direction...

3/ After all, #GALAXYGOGGLEDAO was a high inflation degen yield farm. Yields had collapsed, nodes were the new flavor of the week, $BTC was in a serious down trend, a war was looming, there was tons of macro uncertainty... There was plenty of piss and vinegar surrounding how...

4/ the project should move forward. Furthermore, we were a #DAO in name only. Sure the internal team was great at listening to the community and implementing things apes wanted, but it lacked a proper community governance structure. Ideas on how to proceed ranged from...

5/ unwinding the DAO as other similar projects from that period of time (Jan-Feb '22) had.. to pivoting towards something else. In the end the community decided that "something else" would be a pivot towards GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT. Enter #APEGALAXY. Our community determined...

9/ off to a community appointed Treasurer, along with permissions to all socials and other relevant assets that are now under the stewardship of $GG DAO and it's community appointed committee heads. The treasury remains under the security of a @gnosisdao multi-sig wallet...

12/ Or at least surprised because you thought $GG was ded (admittedly the chart looks like shit, it's true), a "slow rug" and so on. Au contraire, we're anything but!

So what have we been up to the past 2 months?

13/ Aside from the ultra important, yet boring administrative stuff touched on throughout this thread.. many apes have been hard at work on a variety of things ranging from web domain consolidation and graphic re-design, game development (a lot more on this in a future thread)...

14/ treasury investments (currently yield farming $UST with $5M on $ANC #ANCHORPROTOCOL $LUNA #LUNA + funding a motion picture film via bridge loan?!), merch, and more. With our foundation in place and product on the verge of shipping we're ready to end our radio silence...

15/ on Twitter and start working on community growth/engagement.
