The partially collapsed railway #bridge in the #Kursk region of Russia is said to be on the "Sudzha-Sosnovy Bor railway." This is about 10 miles (15 km) of the #Ukraine-#Russia border, an about 50 miles (80 km) northwest of Belgorod. 2/

A quick FYI: I have not yet found any photos that show the damage to the partially collapsed railway #bridge in the #Kursk region of #Russia. All the photos I've seen so far are from other railway incidents in Russia or #Ukraine. I'll post photos as soon as I find any. 3/

Roman Starovoit, the governor of the #Kursk region in #Russia, has said on his Telegram channel that the collapse of the freight railway #bridge in his region was due to #sabotage. Also, some additional photos of the damage are available (below). 7/

A report on social media today says the damage to the #bridge in the #Kursk region, #Russia, was due to explosives placed on two of the supporting bridge pillars. Each set of explosives was equivalent in strength to 25 kg of TNT. 8/
