I've just wrapped up my interim Head of Growth role at @ToucanProtocol to focus on building a protocol at @ReFiDAOist to become an accelerator for the #ReFi movement...

4. Know your space — Raph and James spent 18 months ahead of launch researching the carbon market.

5. Focus — you can't do it all at once. Choose wisely.
Build great money legos that work together (carbon bridge, carbon pools) and set a new precedent. TCO2 standard)
6. Tempo — work fast and get shit done, but slow down afterward and take time to reflect and learn.

7. Trust — build a team with core collaborators through short trial projects in order to build trust before making a deep commitment.
8. Ops — create clear structures and repeatable processes for onboarding, operations, and HR to unlock healthy growth (@robdogeth is 🔥)

9. Network — invest in your network. When you decide to build you'll have everything you need through your relationships and won't have to spend time searching for the right partner (@curvelabs, @Kolektivo, @clim8collective, @commonsstack, @deepsciventures)

10. Grit — you'll go through highs and lows as a founding team. Aligned founders with character & experience is make or break.
11. Decide — Making good decisions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments is hard. Reduce information overload.
Slow down. Trust your gut.

Help them find a place that makes their gifts shine.

I've had an amazing journey in my short time at @ToucanProtocol after stepping up as interim Head of Growth to fill a gap.
It's challenged me in many ways and been fertile ground for me to grow.
I've seen a new kind of leadership that inspires me to lead from the heart.
