Non-dom billionaire-owned Spectator magazine's ex-Director Kemi Badenoch, is second favourite to replace non-dom billionaire-owned Telegraph & Spectator magazine's ex-employee Boris Johnson. 😬

But who is Kemi Badenoch, & why do malign foreign/non-dom billionaires❤️her?
Badenoch worked as a systems analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, before - like every other candidate in the #ToryLeadershipContest - pursueing a career in 'consultancy & financial services', working as an associate director of private bank & wealth manager, Coutts.
In her maiden speech as an MP on 19 July, 2017 Bademoch described the vote for Brexit as "the greatest ever vote of confidence in the project of the United Kingdom" and cited her personal heroes as Winston Churchill, Airey Neave, & Margaret Thatcher.

In April 2018, The Mail on Sunday obtained a video of an interview that 'ethically challenged' Badenoch did, where she confessed to hacking into the website of @UKLabour MP Harriet Harman in 2008, when she was Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

news.sky.com/story/tory-vic…
Like so many hard-right Tory MPs & high profile Republicans, Badenoch is another extremely dangerous & divisive culture war fanatic, skilled in 'divide & rule' & Steve Bannon's approach of 'flooding the zone with shit'.

In a #BlackHistoryMonth debate in Parliament in 2020, Badenoch emphasised the government's opposition to primary & secondary schools teaching 'white privilege' & similar "elements of critical race theory" - despite CRT NEVER being taught in schools.

Unhinged ill-informed extremist ConservativeHome readers voted Badenoch's speech on critical race theory 2020 'speech of the year'.

Her speech was dangerously divisive culture war bullshit, imported directly from the extremist wing of the US Republicans.

In 2021, ethically challenged Badenoch published a series of tweets in which she included screenshots of questions sent to her office by HuffPost journalist Nadine White who she, as a result, accused of "creepy & bizarre behaviour".

theguardian.com/media/2021/jan…
White subsequently made her Twitter account private, citing the abuse she received. Badenoch's actions were criticised by both the National Union of Journalists & the Council of Europe's Safety of Journalists Platform. Badenoch was defended by Boris Johnson's press secretary.
In March 2021, Badenoch was encouraged to "consider her position" as an equalities minister by Jayne Ozanne, one of a group of Govt LGBT advisers who quit their roles due to the decision by the Govt not to ban conversion therapy; a speech by Badenoch was described as "appalling".
During a debate in the House of Commons in April 2021, Badenoch criticised Labour's response to the Govt's grotesque whitewashing report compiled by the Commission on Race & Ethnic Disparities, which had declared Britain was not institutionally racist.

The report was widely condemned as a travesty & missed opportunity by charities & many other organisations, but culture war extremists Badenoch inevitably defended it, & accused Labour of "wilful misrepresentations" over the report.

In September 2021, Badenoch was promoted to Minister of State for Equalities & appointed Minister of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government. Shortly after Vice News said they had received leaked audio from 2018 in which Badenoch mocked gay marriage.
Having been a staunch supporter of Boris Johnson, on 6 July, opportunist Badenoch resigned from Govt, citing Boris Johnson's handling of the Chris Pincher scandal. Two days later she launched a bid in the #ToryLeadershipRace.

She describes herself as a "cultural Christian". 😬

Thatcher's 11-year premiership was marked by profound polarisation, destruction of communities, rising crime, poverty & inequality, social unrest, industrial strife & high unemployment, & her divisive economic policies promoted a harmful culture of greed & selfishness. Image
Thatcher era closure of heavy industry resulted in increased crime rates & levels, especially that committed by young people over the following 20 years: in areas with the highest level of job losses the number receiving cautions was 21% higher than areas with the lowest rise. Image
Ironically for a prime minister who focussed so much on family life, Thatcher's 1980s saw the end of the traditional family unit for many.

Divorce rates reached 13.4 per 1,000 married population in 1985, although that wasn't as high as the peak of 1994 after the recession. Image

Olympic-level gaslighting & Boris Johnson-level lying form #ToryLeadershipContest hopeful & culture war crank, Kemi Badenoch, who with a straight-face, claimed she opposes “populism & polarisation”! No wonder #30pLee & several other illiberal dimwit Tory MPs support her.
"Free markets, limited government, a strong nation state - those are the Conservative principles we need to beat back protectionism, populism & polarisation".

She neglected to mention Boris Johnson’s premiership championed populism & polarisation, & at times protectionism too.
Echoing the rhetoric of the Austrian far-right, Badenoch entirely predictably criticised the net zero target: "[There are] too many policies, like the net zero target, set up with no thought to the effect on industries in the poorer parts of this country."

Orbán-loving #neofascist conspiracy theorist Douglas Murray is one of the most dangerous men in Britain.

If left-wing foreign/non-dom billionaires owned 75% of the UK press & secretly funded left-wing think tanks close to the UK Govt, he'd be calling for armed insurrection. ImageImageImage
Introductory #THREAD to the Spectator's dangerous conspiracy theorist Douglas Murray, who plays a significant role in the 'shameless normalisation' of far-right discourse, & was associate director of the dangerous Henry Jackson Society from 2011 - 2018.

Part of a #THREAD about the dangerous hard-right Henry Jackson Society which has been profoundly shaped by #neofascist Steve Bannon, who in 2017 met with Boris Johnson in New York & Jacob Rees-Mogg in London, since when, Britain has been ruined:

In June it was reported that UK MPs were set to debate the government’s new ‘national security’ law, which could criminalise public interest journalism while granting ministers immunity from involvement in war crimes.

opendemocracy.net/en/national-se…
Priti Patel’s National Security Bill, unveiled in the Queen’s Speech in May, would make it an offence for journalists to report ‘restricted’ official information in the public interest if they or their organisation has received funding from a foreign state.
Tory MP David Davis has already warned that non-governmental organisations such as Reprieve, Privacy International, Transparency International – all of which have been given grants by overseas govts while carrying out transparency work – could face prosecution under the new laws.
