This thread will focus on Nansen’s smart money feature along with other complementary tools.

[3/25] To use Nansen productively, it’s important to understand the various wallet labels (e.g. Elite Dex Trader, ETH millionaire, Legendary NFT Collector etc)

Here’s an example of wallet labels attached to a wallet‘s address.

[4/25] Diving in, Nansen’s Smart Money dashboard covers the smart money trail in relation to DEX trades, transactions and token holdings.

Spy on their movement, their fave tokens and where they are holding their capital on the #Ethereum chain

[5/25] Discover the top DEX token transfers and the entities engaged in them in the last 24 hours.

If you want to drill deeper, you can click the wallet pair profiler to check past transactions between 2 transactional entities.

[6/25] E.g. Wintermute depositing to Kraken and past transactions b/w them. @nansen_ai allows you to intuitively check individual entity’s holdings and transactions on chain with @etherscan.

[7/25] Top transactions can be sorted be value to deliver more insights on what the big boys (e.g. Alameda Research, Longling Capital Jump Trading, ParaFi Capital) are up to

[8/25] Check out the smart money and fund leaderboard, what they are holding by token and how they stack up against each other.

Smart money label breakdown by % gives good insight on what they do. The biggest portion are smart LP!

[9/25] What is the % of the smart money‘s portfolio that are in the stablecoins over time?

It’s 11% now compared to 18% on June 22nd, and trending downwards. Tells you smart money could be buying and market may be picking up again!

[10/25] You can also find smart money through Nansen’s token god mode.

E.g. WETH is the fave token among the smart money. You can discover who is the biggest WETH token holder (i.e. Jump Trading) among them.

And who holds large WETH balance and engage in large transfers

[11/25] Stabecoin Masters can also give you insights on the notable wallets holding large stablecoin balance and who has large balance changes and stablecoin flow etc

[12/25] Whales and smart money leave a trail through their large gas fee usage…so the gas checker can help you suss them out by looking at the large gas consumer and spender accounts.

[13/25] DAO God Mode is also a good way to find influential #DAOs members who hold large amount of governance tokens and voting power.

[14/25] Don’t forget there are a lot of smart even legendary NFT traders out there. Find them under NFT Paradise (e.g. Profit leaderboard, Minting leaderboard and Smart money tracker etc)
