Morning of August 4th brings us this from Kenneth Gregg #UkraineWillWin: (1/10) "This update will be about two events: #Pisky and #Dovhenke (#Izium region). We start with Pisky which has been the talk of the western media as a breakthrough for the Russians and a disaster⬇️

2:"...for the Ukrainians. Yes, it has been a disaster in the sense that we have 196 dead after 2 days of fighting. The background to the attack here in the Donetsk region was that the Russians knew that we did not have strong troops in the area and they KNEW exactly where our ⬇️

3:"...positions were. Then they fired more than 6500 shells from artillery and with GRAD. It took about 12 hours before we got reinforcements to the area and our troops could force the enemy out of the city itself. The Russians themselves have too few troops to take the city.⬇️

4:"In any case, it is worrying that the Russians knew all about where our positions and bunkers were, they precision fired with heavy artillery and after that the mass firing with GRAD took over. The same warfare is being waged around #Kharkiv, where neither we or they⬇️

5:"...have enough troops to make a decisive impact. In the case of Pisky, as in so many other cases from the past, it probably pays to find out what really happened and certainly not to trust our media in the North.⬇️

6:"Izium region: Our troops have an offensive going on and our Nordic media has not written a word about it. We have pushed the Russians back in a large area, 6 km x 30 km. Now the Russian regiment in #Brazhkivka is also under threat and there is every reason for the Russian⬇️

7:"... staffs in Izium to be worried. If we knock out Kherson and Izium, the Russians have only one way to bring in maintenance and that is east of Lysyshansk.

Our long-range artillery has had high activity against targets south and southeast of #Melitopol .⬇️

8:"From the fronts in Kharkiv and Luhansk no specific information and from #Kherson we have info black out. The only official announcement is that we have liberated 53 communities. This in turn indicates that we have a de facto offensive going on there.⬇️

9:"So finally, a request from our battalions at the front: right now we are in dire need of 24 hour field food rations. I know Jonas and a few others are trying to get these but the need is great and getting greater the closer we get to winter.⬇️
