Rahimullah Haqqani was an important pro-Taliban ideologue and was pretty well known in Pakistan too. There have been multiple attacks against him in the past too, which he survived. He was a critic of ISKP.

So like I said before, it's quite likely that the attack on Rahimullah Haqqani included some insider help. Now some Taliban sources are claiming that his driver might be involved in the plot. Very interesting.
