What's the value proposition of @ElrondNetwork's $EGLD? Two years after mainnet, where has the leadership of @beniaminmincu taken the project? Will #Elrond be a future L1 SC blockchain leader? The next few tweets will be a few of my thoughts and how I value the project. NFA, anon

1) Crypto narratives change literally weekly; important to take note of but also critical to identify lasting value. Recent crypto explosions have increased the need to evaluate survivability & practice risk management. #Elrond has blazed its own trail going against most trends.

2) The quickest way to make a buck & capture short-term hype is now a science. (1) Fork #Ethereum (2) Fork @Uniswap (3) Tweaks settings (4) Launch a token. Solidity / EVM spinoffs are a shortcut. We all saw how $ETH gas fees made transacting on L1 impossible.

3) We are early. Roughly 200k #Solidity devs & 450k active addresses on #Ethereum. "We underestimate the extent of change & overestimate the speed of change" - @ctoLarsson. @beniaminmincu has designed #ElrondNetwork to be a significant player in the long-term crypto markets.

4) You have to move beyond @tokenterminal KPIs & the current narratives. This diagram represents the core value proposition of @ElrondNetwork.

5) The accomplishments over the last two years demonstrate the strength of the engineering team, the business execution genius of @beniaminmincu, & the masterminds supporting the broader vision, @SanjaKon, @nunocor_, & @Augustin_Dobre.

6) Global merchant payments 250 billion by 2028, ~14% CAGR. @UTRUST is ripe to disrupt incumbents. #PayPal et al.

7) Nation state-level adoption > than a degen dApp built by anons, long term. @twispay opens the door here in the EU as a first step.

8) Financial infrastructure & services are a huge market. Still, we must push experiments that explore the best of the #Metaverse, #NFTs, & #Web3.

@ElrondNetwork is well positioned with unique star-ups electing to build on their infrastructure as strategic launchpad partners.

9) @holoride $RIDE, @itheum $ITHEUM, and @CantinaRoyale $CRT add additional value to the core of #Elrond; much more in store in the broader ecosystem.

10) What about builders? With @egldhub and more planned by @lucianmincu, improved developer tooling is around the corner. The SC playground is a nice addition for learning #Rust SCs: play.elrond.com.

11) Key DeFi protocols are under development to complement the broader crypto space. A few notable dApps: @jexchangeP2P @ProteoDefi @ash_swap @HatomProtocol @FixxToken.

12) No project is not without its challenges. But, we learn a lot from how they respond. #Elrond has been tested, and it has demonstrated its resilience & antifragility properties of the business & systems.
