Sooo many people buy 'Smart Stats' without being aware of this ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL peice of information. MUST watch before choosing a smart thermostat. Up to 15% for a gas boiler.

A more advanced one. Should I 'zone' my heating system? Perhaps not? This is geared toward Heat Pumps as the difference is slightly bigger but ABSOLUTELY true for gas boilers too. Check it out it will shock you!

Lastly, do the above for a Heat Pump and you could increase efficiency by 250%! It all works the same way.

OR swap your boiler to a heat pump. Doing the above also shows you if your ready for a heat pump without any system upgrades. This COULD also save money on fuel bills.

If you've done the above you should now know your 'system design temperature'.

This will tell you if installing a Heat Pump will save money on your fuel bills AND how much runnng a heat pump will likely cost by following the instructions this video.
