My first few impressions with regards to Inspire.art #NFTs #ElrondNFTs #ElrondNFTMarket #ElrondNetwork /1

So, what are we actually looking at? In the roadmaps it was pretty much touted as a "Marketplace", so most people - including me - expected something like @opensea or @Coinbase_NFT /2

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT I understand the dilemma the Team faced and it's probably the 'best' decision to create a hybrid marketplace, that is integrate the exising ones and offer own functionality. It puzzles me that @FrameItNFT isn't there from the getgo. In fact everything takes me to Xoxno. /3

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT @FrameItNFT Most of the functionality is already there in Xoxno (showing Deadrare listing) or Omniscient Tools. /4

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT @FrameItNFT Only very few projects are verified at this stage, which also is odd as there's many original, old projects not verified yet. They should have atleast allowed people to apply for verification before launch or start without any verified collections. /5

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT @FrameItNFT Layout is fairly clean, although for example it would be nice to 'easier' see where the auctions are taking place from the front page. /6

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT @FrameItNFT Of course the highlight is the Maiar App integration. But I clicked on auctions, I couldn't bid, there was no link to the auction whatsoever. Seems very alpha at this stage. /7

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT @FrameItNFT The follow friends and creators feed in the Maiar App and on the page is also a nice idea, though I'd probably like to see more abilities to restrict what others can see. /8

@opensea @Coinbase_NFT @FrameItNFT On the website, I go to my page, I get a popup to create an auction, but when I click on the NFT it's not possible. Considering how long we were waiting for Inspire.art it seems very alpha, sadly. /9

The Discover pages are nicely done and easy to access, so they could be a good entry for newcomers, as the whole page. /10

So what's the bottom line: After quite a long wait, we are getting a neatly-designed #NFT portal and marketplace aggregator with very basic functionality. Nothing groundbreaking but a solid try. Although I'm a bit disappointed considering how it had been touted before. /11

A lof of features to come though and we'll watch this place. But it won't be the big 'trigger' for people flocking into the Elrond NFT Market. /12
