But, first of all, what is a DEX aggregator ? ๐คจ
1/18
A DEX aggregator is a protocol that allows traders to access multiple liquidity pools through a single interface. The goal is to provide more liquidity than a single DEX in order to obtain a better exchange rate.
2/18
To do this, the aggregator will scan the liquidity and exchange rate from multiple DEX to get the best possible price to execute an order.
By definition, a DEX aggregator is, therefore, a liquidity aggregator ๐จโ๐ซ
3/18
Thus, Fibrous' mission is to connect all #StarkNet AMM allowing users to have access to the total AMM liquidities in one place ๐งโ๐ญ
Thanks to Fibrous, users will no longer have to manually search and try orders on several AMM to find the best exchange rate; Fibrous does it manually and more optimally ๐ค
Indeed, for the same order, Fibrous will :
5/18
1โฃ Fetch liquidity from several different AMMs.
For example, to swap 10ETH against DAI, Fibrous will:
๐Swap 4ETH on JediSwap
๐3ETH on SithSwap
๐1ETH on mySwap
๐2ETH on Alpha Road
6/18
2โฃGo through intermediate crypto if the ratio is better.
For example, for 10ETH, Fibrous will:
๐Swap 4 #ETH against DAI
๐Swap 4ETH against #BTC, then BTC against DAI
๐Swap 2 ETH against #STARK, then STARK against BTC and finally BTC against DAI
7/18
To operate, Fibrous will use a price exploration and routing algorithm to calculate and obtain the best possible swap rate to a given pair across all StarkNet AMM.
8/18
Then, Fibrous will take the input asset and split it through several routes and different pools to get a more significant amount of output assets through its order routing algorithm.
9/18
So, to summarize, Fibrous will scan the liquidity of all StarkNet AMM and calculate the best exchange rate by dividing the input liquidity across all of these AMM.
The result is time and money-saving for users! ๐ฅฐ
10/18
Let's move on to the #testnet to see how it looks in practice ๐งช
Both are very good, download one (or both to try) and add it to your browser.
12/18
Step 2: Test tokens ๐ฐ
Start by claiming some #ETH. A small amount is enough, they will just be used to pay the gas fee.
To claim them, go to: faucet.goerli.starknet.io, enter your address in the bar, and solve the captcha.
13/18
The other tokens needed for the testnet can be minted directly on the Fibrous website:
๐testnet.fibrous.finance
Connect your wallet, click on "Mint," and validate the transaction.
14/18
Step 3: Make swaps๐ฑ
Make swaps between the different pairs and in both directions:
๐fETH - fBTC
๐fETH - fDAI
๐fBTC - fETH
๐fBTC - fDAI
๐fDAI - fBTC
๐fDAI - fETH
You can try all pairs with small and large amounts to check if everything works correctly
15/18
To do so:
โก๏ธ(1) Choose a pair
โก๏ธ(2) Enter the amount you want to swap on the input asset
โก๏ธ(3) Click on 'Swap'
โก๏ธ(4) Check the path taken by Fibrous to obtain this exchange rate
16/18
Step 4: Enjoy & feedback โ๏ธ
Fibrous doesn't have a Discord yet (when Discord sir @FibrousFinance), so we'll probably have to wait until it comes out ๐
However, you can send them a mail if you've identified an issue or have any questions:
๐support@fibrous.finance ๐งโ๐ง
17/18
I hope you enjoyed this presentation, and I'll see you soon for a new one ๐
Some of you regularly ask me : How can I take advantage of my early position on Starknet ? It's a good question๐ฆ
As you know, Starknet network is still very early (alpha version) and the projects that are built on it are still in their early stage
1/13
If you are following me, I think you are already lucky enough to know this ecosystem and to be established in it. The question now is : how can you take advantage of it ? ๐ค
If you are a dev, it's easy : learn #Cairo. But for others people ๐๐งต
2/13
To get a maximum of chances (and get the holy grail which is the WL for a private/public sale or maybe an unlikely #Airdrop, yes I know you๐ฅธ), there are several levers to activate as a user.
Hi everyone, today's testnet is about @KYVENetwork, which launched its #Testnet in May and will end in June. The team will #airdrop 2% of the supply to reward eligible participants. We'll see how to be eligible in the testnet presentation, but first :
What is Kyve ?
1/26
@KYVENetwork KYVE is a data storage and availability service that aims to create a flexible environment to classify and archive data in a decentralized and incentivized way. KYVE's solution will allow dApps and blockchains to store their data, while being able to access it at any time.
2/26
@KYVENetwork Data storage in the cryptocurrency sector is a major issue as it's becoming increasingly heavy over time. Two recent examples of this problem :
- #ETH and EIP4444 : eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-4444
