If history repeats itself, we'll soon see many #Russian generals complaining about #Putin or condemning his way of waging the #Ukraine war.
And mind you, that doesn't make them "good guys" or "honorable Russian officers". 1/4

From 1943~ on many #Nazi generals started to complain about "corporal Adolf" - because he micromanaged and screwed their war.
But the generals had no issues with killing POW's, massacring or bombing civilians and occupying neighboring countries - that was OK to #Herrenvolk. 2/4

Also the members of Supreme Command of Russian Armed Forces were cool about the principle: its OK to invade #Ukraine, try to assasinate @ZelenskyyUa, let 🇷🇺 soldiers loot and rape.
Officers at their neat HQ offices at Moscow's район Арбат made all these crimes happen. 3/4

And that's why, fellows, those generals who might soon be ready to criticize Putin publicly, are as bad f***rs as top notch WW2 Berlin generals were.
Many of them hope to brand themselves as "good guys" - but in #Kremlin the genuine remorse has always been in short supply.
