On October 12, 2022, members of the organizing committee for the creation of the opposition party "Alga #Kazakhstan" for the third time submitted a list of the initiative group (2149 people - twice the 1000 people required by law)
2/6 to the Ministry of #Justice to start registration of the party. However, on the same day, October 13, the Ministry of Justice returned the documents, refusing to start registering the party, referring to Article 8 of the law on political parties,
4/6 The organizing committee has videos of more than half of the members of the initiative group (out of 2149 people - 1150 with video confirmation), which confirms that the data of the members of the initiative group comply with the requirements of the law. @Left_EU @viraniarif
5/6 Earlier, on May 4 and September 22, 2022, the authorities also refused to start the registration of the party to the organizing committee of "Alga Kazakhstan" after they submitted the list of the initiative group, citing the same reason.
On October 13, in the specialized inter-district court for criminal cases of the Aktobe region, the trial continued on a politically motivated criminal case under article 272 part 2 (“participation in mass riots”) against 18 people:
3/6 Thanks to public support and public protection, political prisoner Ablaykhan Bekeyev was changed from arrest in a pre-trial detention center, where he was held for 9 months, to an obligation to appear in court. We thank everyone for the support of Ablaykhan.

On September 6, 2022, the political prisoner Rufat #Khamidulin was released from the pre-trial detention center, replacing the measure of restraint from arrest in the pre-trial detention center to a written undertaking not to leave.

In his appeal, the activist told how he and his family have been persecuted by the authorities of Kazakhstan since 2019. They want to protect him from society for his active citizenship and criticism of the authorities.
2/6 On 9 March, a man, who introduced himself as an associate of the Police Department “Saryarka”, #SULEIMENOV Nurbek called Tabys and invited him to the Police Department regarding his participation in a peaceful protest on 4 January 2022.
3/6 The policeman summoned the activist over the phone without explaining the meeting agenda, as required by law. Also, like all peaceful citizens, Tabys did not commit any violent acts or riots at the rally.

"I was abducted from the hospital on 8 January 2022, tortured in the pre-trial detention facility SI-18 and unlawfully accused of "participation in mass disorders"

3/6 However, on 25 January when I was released from the SI-18, the investigators wrote "Sayat ADILBEKULY's crimes are classified according to Article 281 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of RK" in the court order on changing my preventive measure.
