Russia keeps claiming that Ukraine is going to nuke Russia. M Zakharova even said its going to be made to look like a Russian weapon. Lavrov took these allegations to his counter parts in the UK, US and France by phone. All three used diplo-speak to tell him to get bent. Then
called Stoltenberg to alert him. The diplo-speak we got of the read out translates to: Chumprov is gonna find out real quick. I am sure there were more calls. No doubt Xi or his FM got several. Lavrov begging for support and western FM's asking if Xi really wants to preside over
China poisoned with the fallout of Russia's war. Interestingly, after NATO laughed in his face Lavrov vowed to take the issue to the UN. DO IT!: Show the receipts! He can't of course. Ukraine does not have "dirty bombs" and has asked the IAEA to do an emergency inspection of its
facilities to make sure all waste and fissile material is accounted for. Every single isotope and curie Ukraine creates is tracked, measured and logged. Diverting nuclear material is nearly impossible. Firstly, because of the massive inspection regime these materials are
controlled by. Secondly, by the fact that Ukraine was buying its nuclear fuels from Russia prior to Feb 24. That leaves the waste product. Highly radioactive, dirty and abundant.... Modern nuclear fuels are highly inefficient and this leads to a lot of waste unless it is
reprocessed. Here is where its gets interesting. One of Ukraine's main storage sites for radiological waste was/is.... Chernobyl. Think back.... Who being a rouge actor and full of hubris and stupidity had months of access to the site? Oh yea: Russia. From supplying the fuel to
having access to the waste, Russia is quite capable of making a "Ukrainian" dirty bomb. Hence Ukraine's desire to have the IAEA do an inspection and audit. Which may be why some rumors from the Russian side are claiming its going to be the UK that provides the fissile material.
The obvious implication is that such an attack would not be Ukraine but NATO vice UK that did the attack. I know it's stupid but that's the story they are weaving together. Its ratty and full of holes but it doesn't take much to convince those who want to be convinced. So I am
going to put some cards on the table. Actual experts are invited to comment especially if I am wrong so that I may be less wrong next time. If NATO wanted to nuke Russia we could. The Ohio sitting in the Arabian sea is less than 15 minutes from Russia-no-more and is likely
in a radar gap. Other US subs in the North Atlantic and Pacific are also around from more Ohios, Dreadnoughts and Le Terribles to Virginias and other SSN's with cruise missiles. The NATO naval based deterrence force is massive. Then there is air power.
Think back to Trump's second strike on Assad. Putin vowed to defend his vassal and moved ships to the Med and claimed his SAM batteries would fire if Syria was attacked. The USAF went right around them without using stealth bombers. Old fashioned mapping out of defensive and
radar nets allowed the US to completely bypass the Russian radar and SAm curtains and deliver PSM's on target. The result being Assad finally stopped gassing kids and grandmothers. We have all seen how much difficulty Russian ADA and SAM assets have had in the war in Ukraine.
When it comes to nukes, Russia's only defense is a lack of political will in the West to use them. While Macron might seem wobbly, in the end if the US and Uk go, France goes for the simple fact that France won't be spared the fallout in any case. Russia knows this which is why
Russia is pining so hard for a GOP sweep of the mid-terms. I think they will have that hope dashed. GOP or Dem control the Ukraine supporters will out number the not our war and Russophiles and can force any vote in the House and McConnell and most senate Republicans are firmly
behind Ukraine. Ukraine is a bi-partisan issue thats easy to sell and besides, Biden has so many other tools he can use to forge compromise bills. Energy drilling permits, tax reforms and executive agency policies that can be used for horse trading. Biden knows Ukraine is his
moment to go down in history as something other than a gaff machine, plagiarist and grifter. For all the mistakes he has made (I really don't like him) he has been right on Ukraine and on this issue he has my support. BTW Thursday is my anniversary
YAY! Another trip around the Sun with my best friend, partner and wife. She is a blessing in my life. We are both taking the day off to go day tripping. I have some surprises in store for her. But we are going to start the day by early voting. I will gladly be keeping my promise
to cast my ballot for @JohnBoozman and @RepFrenchHill. @SenTomCotton will have to wait until he is on the ballot. Support for Ukraine is my #1 issue. Opposing the #GenocideOfUkrainians should be everyone's number 1 issue. All the other stinking problems we face at least touch on
issue in some way from energy and food shortages to the rule of law to Russian funded political division: looking at you Gabbard and Carlson... Russia is a malignant force in the world. Given immense size, boundless resources, talent and borders with both the East and West
with prosperity a seeming birthright, instead Russia chose #colonialism, #imperialism and #genocide for her self and her neighbors. Its shameful. Sadly, she as she uses her wealth to spread her evils she also funds massive disinfo efforts. The trolls never sleep and are always
working. Countering Kleptograd's dis-info is why I write and why rely on trusted sources like @MriyaReport or @LanguageIearner's updates: give both a follow please. Countering the physical destruction Russian unleashes is why I support @MriyaAid and other charities and why I
donate to @georgian_legion. This war is fought in Ukraine, but for Russia Ukraine is just a proxy and springboard for her global ambitions. She must be opposed. Thankfully, #ukrainecounteroffensive's mean #RussiaIsLosing and if firm western resolve can keep the nuclear genie in
check then she will be reduced to a #russiaisaterrorisstate sized North Korea hermit kingdom. Its getting there that requires the suffering of the Ukrainian people. They do not deserve this, and they need our support to bear that cross for us. Hopefully #Kherson will be freed
soon, followed by the areas around #Bakhmut and eventually all of Ukraine including #Crimea will be free again. @mfa_russia <--- still losing you genocidal freakazoids. PS WarGonzo thought cheering genocide would give his career a leg up... Well he sure stepped in it. But maybe
Anton Krasovsky stepped in to an even bigger mess. It's likely he will face an #Interpol #rednotice for #incitementtogenocide. Until Ukraine wins on Ukraine's terms: Slava Ukraini!

The CPC walked back its letter, seems House Dem Leadership and maybe rank and file membership was able to bring down the hammer. This is obviously sub-optimal for Russia but Kleptograd will still play it up. We had our own version of it on @MriyaReport last night. An audience
speaker came up and tried to do a "thought" experiment. Here's the thing though, thought experiments are always controlled exercises in leading someone to a pre-determined end goal. I use them in my writings, they are NOT open ended, "lets see what comes out of this" exercises.
Both the CPC letter and the "thought experiment" were designed to create the idea that "western diplomacy" was a viable option and had a viable even supreme role to play in ending the #Russianinvasionofukraine. Both of those are sitting on a foundation of neo-colonialist thought

When replying to the Kleptogradians I think its important to stay on message. Kleptograd is engaged in a war of #genocidal colonial #imperialism. I don't go down rabbit holes with them when they try and turn livestock check stations and pathology clinics with military biolabs.
I don't really engage at all with any of the various and ever changing whatabouts they throw around. They already know it's all bullshit and that is the point. They want the debate and use it as an opportunity to sow confusion. It also fits with their world view that those who
answer questions are weak. A worldview that if you think about it perfectly serves the cabal of corruptiods at the top. No one dares question the graft, corruption and incompetence and meekly accept the shit sandwiches fed to them. The more outlandishly served up the more they

Quick thread on American politics. Recently several states filed suit to block student loan reform. I am not sure they can prove standing but that being said. The money disbursed to students over the past several decades has already been spent. So how will it add to the future
budget deficits? Well, the government, school administrators and loan servicers all colluded to make sure that the interest rates paid by students would mean college was less about education and more about future revenue streams. In short the above 3 all want students to be
profit centers. Its why student loans unlike car loans, mortgages or credit cards can negatively amortize. Meaning even if you make your monthly payment the amount owed can go up. The government literally exempted itself from loan financing rules that will get a normal lender

Russians lie, except when they don't so how do you tell if the difference? It is a pretty simple formula actually; it requires access to good information. For example, when the Russian's claim that Ukrainians and Russians are actually one people when talking out of one side of
their mouth, but then say shit like drown Russian speaking Ukrainian children if they don't want to be Russian, or that Ukrainian grandmothers want to be raped by Russian soldiers out of the other side they are obviously lying.
Which statement though is true.... Actions speak louder than words. This story is from the liberation of Bucha and has both ground level and sat imagery showing that killing and raping is the true statement. bbc.com/news/60981238

@mtracey, your message here and here are not only wrong but deliberately so. I don't think you have it in you to admit when you are wrong but I will attempt to educate you anyway.
First, the numbers of civilian dead are only from Ukrainian controlled areas, Russia is not permitting access to the areas it controls, areas that often saw the most intense rubblization via concentrated and sustained air and artillery strikes. Some estimates for #Mariupol alone
80,000 dead. Thats 80,000 in a single city. Without liberation the true number is likely never going to be known because the Kremlin will not provide unfettered access. usnews.com/news/world-rep…

How many rings does the Russian circus have? I am used to Russia's various versions of Lord Haw-Haw and Axis Sally spouting all sorts of nonsense but every now and then they write something that really takes the cake. In this most recent display of supreme irony the supreme
HEAD OF RUSSIA said this, " No side that’s confident in its prospects of military and soft power success would ever deign to attack civilians, especially refugees, not to mention those that it claims are its own people on its own land.
This part of an article where he claims that shelling a bridge used for military purposes is a war crime. No, Andy, it is not, though Russia putting civilians on it as human shields definitely is. Although I am not a lawywr, let alone one versed in the LOAC and IHL I think I know
