IDLIB 7/11 - Hayat Tahrir Al Sham (HTS) a modification of Al Qaeda launched provocations with UK-incubated White Helmet organisation in response to undesirable rapprochement between #Damascus and #Ankara.

Russia's Syria Reconciliation Center Deputy Head Oleg Yegorov warned that a provocation was prepared for the 6th November. Intelligence information had been received during the night of the 5th November.

Yegorov said: "We have information that the Al-Nusra Front (Heyet Tahrir al-Sham) is planning a provocation in the Idlib region together with the so-called "White Helmets" human rights organization.

The militants are preparing to serve up a fully fabricated and fake recording of the attacks on the camps near the Kafr Dian and Kafr Jales settlements.”

Yegorov reported that in one day, 8 attacks were carried out from Nusra Front positions in the Idlib de-escalation zone. Three in Idlib, one in Aleppo and five in Lattakia. Nusra Front attacked Syrian Arab Army positions with UAVs in the Ruaikh region of Idlib.

Seven Syrian soldiers were injured in the attack.

Yegorov announced that Nusra Front was planning suicide bomb attacks on Hmeymim base in Tartous in collaboration with militants from the East Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) which is engaged in Uighur separatism and terrorism in Xinxiang province in China.

On the 6th November - Andalou Agency ran with the pre-planned narrative - six civilians were reported killed and "at least 75 civilians were injured in a cluster bomb attack" allegedly carried out by #Damascus against the Maram refugee camp in northern Idlib.

Of course the #WhiteHelmets were the primary source for the story (AA news by Izzedin Kasim).

The gradual normalisation of relations between Damascus and Turkey advanced by Russia in recent days created a reaction from the armed groups in Idlib. Therefore this must be seen as an attempt by the dominant HTS group to derail this process.
