1/11. With the final gavel of the @COP27P behind us, here ends @LossAndDamage’s coverage of #LossAndDamage at #COP27. We thank you all for reading what we have shared with you. Now It is time for us to rest and travel home to our loved ones.

2/11. But before we do we wish to extend huge gratitude to all those within our Collaboration and beyond have worked tirelessly for months to deliver a #LossAndDamage fund and the operationalisation of the #SantiagoNetwork for #LossAndDamage.

3/11. We are grateful for the solidarity and unity of the G77 and China and in particular the leadership of #Pakistan under the team led by H.E @sherryraham and lead negotiator #LossAndDamage @VicentePaoloYu.

4/11. Very special thanks to negotiators from developing countries as well as those from developed countries many of whom also worked hard for this outcome.

5/11.We are grateful to the CSOs and movements worldwide who supported developing countries in their calls for a #LossAndDamage finance facility including @CANInt, @LossDamageYouth, @gcdc, @larutadelclima and many others as well as all the individuals working within them.

6/11.We would also like to extend our gratitude to those who have funded our work including the Climate and Emergency Collaboration Group, @UUSC, @BROT_furdiewelt, @boell_us, @PracticalAction, @commonwealthorg, @rosaluxnyc and @IIED.

7/11.We would like to single out a few people who have championed our work including @SabineMinninger, @liane_boell, @ColinMcQuistan, @dinaz15 for the CECG team, @tetetlauron for the RLS team, @charlp27, @LisMarieFL, @glcoops and @simon_addison.

8/11. Without our members, the Collaboration would not exist and we would like to thank each and every one of them for the work they do each day to drive progress on #LossAndDamage.

9/11. Finally, we would like to thank the core team @nhyacinthe791, @TeoSkeaping @HeidiMareeWhite @kateraffety for their extraordinary efforts on the ground in #SharmElSheik and @Rininreallife who supported the team virtually.

10/11. We may be tired and we may be weary but very soon we will be back to assure that both #LossAndDamage fund and the #SantiagoNetwork for #LossAndDamage are fit for purpose and delivering the support that is urgently needed by those on the front lines of the #ClimateCrisis.
